[; J- X1 _) t+ Y0 f0 V4 E% R Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
# e8 I f8 K; n8 i Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.7 V# ^* t) B/ J! e" Q# [: S* K, T& f
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth." O& }, O. f# ]8 U
 Completing required paperwork.
( n3 i0 F* p; w" c' j5 [3 n Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.' X5 D% U! I) w$ {2 Z
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
& u6 d1 \1 c( H; d$ F Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information. $ N9 R6 d, @) T9 Z& v, G) j$ p% Y, e
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
' T! o5 l6 a7 W3 f, k Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
- N, C6 i$ S- d6 p8 _ Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.* n! ~" z. R; s: F' H
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
& K' Z! y9 Q: N9 ?0 C$ z- [3 ^ Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
8 J; J" {# W4 m4 r8 J6 s Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
- g5 z" I( W9 k Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.# a% m/ p- O, ?3 j5 ^. p
 Knowledge of community resources.' E% I, j) m0 r4 U3 l
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.* Z' W% K! w" E. }! {& K) W x
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training. , M h# Q# s" X( M0 Y

Position:# k9 }) n' z9 r4 T6 O$ h
This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
