6 n. m; a. Q  p; E" |" a Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
$ c7 E& K6 D8 v$ o& ]  z Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
 Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
4 y- o3 Q( \* Y) T/ a9 a- s2 B Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
7 k1 \3 I: c* r9 u) ] Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
( I6 J9 Y7 {/ s; D- { Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

Qualifications:
- n3 [, h# W% X! }3 H, }; o+ w# k
 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
2 W& C+ B! L+ z: F+ [ Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
. U; e- D# w- B/ m" u7 F1 J Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
! N) N! @( P. P Knowledge of community resources.
7 {) B( I; `* O Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
0 V" a1 q7 j& z, E# `& ~8 U Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
starting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period.
