3 b% D+ N9 c  E4 j8 C9 h& J Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
6 K+ V+ B$ h& | Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
 Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
1 C# ^/ D. a4 H8 X  F, q% B0 N7 } Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

2 S: T. x* `' D2 ^8 f6 G  x0 L
 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
7 g( q0 ]& Y. f1 r Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
$ Y. o% [% Z( l2 A) ~5 B( B7 m% ?- Q Knowledge of community resources.
7 U% n1 N; l& K0 Z) v$ F" M) Q Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
starting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period.
