 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
$ c7 E& K6 D8 v$ o& ] z Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.7 M6 p7 x0 P, d9 N$ n' @6 K
 Completing required paperwork." D5 j$ Q7 y n* M6 f" Y
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.; i0 S3 i) ~1 T9 v
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.# [' a% h' @* q* g
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.

 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

Qualifications:
- n3 [, h# W% X! }3 H, }; o+ w# k9 C* t: V0 f3 ^! V% A5 i; k; D
 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
2 W& C+ B! L+ z: F+ [ Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
. U; e- D# w- B/ m" u7 F1 J Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.5 [' W, @+ Q& ?; |6 \& F5 V, e8 F* s
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
! N) N! @( P. P Knowledge of community resources.
7 {) B( I; `* O Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
0 V" a1 q7 j& z, E# `& ~8 U Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training. 0 @6 O! o i; r$ b6 M

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50; / o! E, i& ^/ @! p! V2 T# P
starting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period. |
