The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

! B4 n: V V. B3 D, o5 \• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
: j4 ?7 _5 `3 Z# u6 u• Answer multi line telephone system

• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads" R7 V! T3 v h6 E. F
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits) Y+ v+ a' Z2 y/ H; p; p
• Input and manage high volume of data( I+ C$ e& x( g+ J" S- w
• Update and maintain databases
$ Q+ U) E5 X, Y/ m4 e1 b3 ]$ I• Generate monthly reports and statistics
, H8 a, @6 R% ~% v+ ]% j# N• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation9 \* T. |% `" L" M: W" @" D
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits" Y- O1 j& T$ F4 b7 U- [
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms' d4 P- L6 q& j/ o( T
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors

• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

Qualifications:

$ U# g, _! w% G8 Y• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure1 M) {4 g/ ?7 [8 b; `: c
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
+ L( k' a W. R3 e* H3 U( L• Excellent verbal and written communication skills' R8 x' g m9 h. O7 {
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
1 J, K* K# Y& Z, Q# ^• Able to interact positively with a diverse population
