The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. : g, z, ]* w% X1 _, q+ P/ y

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.2 j6 p) z5 B! O& y9 f7 S

/ F! }& \4 n K, q' L• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required# P7 q2 u$ Z: Z* `: f+ ^
• Answer multi line telephone system0 m; I. f Y* |% Y5 |

Administration:$ c) v7 @9 Q4 b
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
7 y( l( i' m+ g: ~! z• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits. S" O2 e8 k. p) ^2 I0 {2 a( V
• Input and manage high volume of data
5 |& C1 D3 I1 \1 a6 O8 L" y2 T) ]• Update and maintain databases" t1 `( d/ ]( }
• Generate monthly reports and statistics2 U, a6 |; `7 y& q. Q% R3 r" X
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation1 J: b6 v% Z L! K+ g# L
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits! t! ?$ K% O0 d ^* }% m; k
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
1 D1 e$ Z3 G( L• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors5 C: k9 t+ X: f/ J
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
! z: A5 [$ b3 T2 m• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients3 ~; \! v+ f. [& g% B8 K* Y, ^

Qualifications:( d8 h0 f9 T; H! I2 G# C0 @

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure/ d* w4 c+ k0 j6 D( y
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS - X- [3 ^2 p) b" G( d4 V! B
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills6 n- G8 N. D9 t7 f0 u, C
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
) J( u' }7 t: z) D# t. U• Able to interact positively with a diverse population
