The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.- i- z4 Y0 ~6 Z0 E# b

Reception: s* I1 {* k9 l! d4 z, W }4 M0 K
• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required* w+ S' e q& T! y# l% v
• Answer multi line telephone system" J/ v" c$ a3 z
$ F1 h( ^' U: ], M/ S
Administration:' c% B/ C7 Q; S- m
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
/ q" N7 G( o" ^& S5 h4 O• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
* C. [5 [9 q5 Q" P/ e" z• Input and manage high volume of data# B! S9 D% h9 ]9 |( O$ g- w5 m9 o
• Update and maintain databases1 r/ l- R9 C) T6 K* z
• Generate monthly reports and statistics
+ E% J4 \" m4 q; _# I) N3 f• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
) j7 x( Y5 j6 ]4 s; q1 i• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
" q! [3 a u- |! @• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
& b; \7 p1 f, k c• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
% ?# l! ?4 E9 \• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre' r, ]3 H0 q5 W2 {9 z% o" \5 r0 D
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
: B& @% D h" m% A! Q( A4 I( I. n• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS : {& v" {0 h' |7 k
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
2 B7 p) m: o- _6 O8 I: m6 i• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
/ v" j% R2 h4 V• Able to interact positively with a diverse population

• Strong organizational skills and abilities* s# e& |- W1 W) C% x# Q# x7 t
• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
