The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. ' |% s* F$ I# N1 F7 A* l" D; G

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.( _# j$ @, g7 z8 U

2 [. s4 \2 Q- W5 T) _• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required2 ]1 t. | F9 v- f
• Answer multi line telephone system

Administration:
/ L% w* A" {2 ?- w( n1 d+ j$ P) L• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads+ u0 y8 X+ Q9 B; u
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits9 Y0 W+ k# p0 W) v0 S9 N$ a
• Input and manage high volume of data/ K! |' k' d1 E4 X2 r# v
• Update and maintain databases+ ^: c" R, G/ G( D# ]1 i# Z
• Generate monthly reports and statistics- v' B @0 y+ w& s- Z
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation3 @, z; X( N8 B2 T" P g& H" @
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
* {, @+ q' l( x3 l) U• Write and revise business correspondence and forms$ K, |# ?0 [5 H; V/ \, p, p
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors& P- R1 n8 _: E1 Y( [
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre5 e, \! F! |5 e( ^% f
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients5 h3 b9 I# C) J7 p
' b$ y! I. q- BQualifications:
- F- `- Y& H' z
; X" K# q# x( Z/ ^, z' o• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
V+ w, `5 f+ [2 G• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS 0 A! m8 J/ t/ J! [
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
. \) E4 |5 R; i E. w7 O9 K7 `( U• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
& l! H8 y" ]% p• Able to interact positively with a diverse population1 C1 K0 D5 A ~% H/ t/ Y8 N
• Strong customer service skills2 h9 F# {4 P+ m% K, [& @& z
• Strong organizational skills and abilities4 T2 u. D( B x/ A) Q
• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
