The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals.  The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. 4 W+ ]1 Q( [  f- S, G$ }' _

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday.  The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

•        Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as         required4 [' G- B9 Z- F4 [* Z* a
•        Answer multi line telephone system
$ q+ ^; j5 A& d( n7 \1 @6 ~4 ?) Z2 s
& t1 I8 J7 B3 v  tAdministration:& W- k: Y8 o$ N+ Y
•        Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
' {  v( j7 _! R6 O1 m7 _/ R% G•        File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
5 d! B* A5 K4 J, h1 c3 l•        Input and manage high volume of data
! q6 n; j3 p+ h$ v$ @& v: ]•        Update and maintain databases# a$ s, g5 r* ^+ }9 F, O+ L
•        Generate monthly reports and statistics
" y& q) |- N/ B' k. L•        Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
) K1 F7 [, |. Z1 ], J1 Z9 c& k•        Process payments and complete weekly deposits
* N+ u0 ^) N  g•        Write and revise business correspondence and forms  e* Y4 P* f. h# i2 R! n
•        Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail         outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors8 V4 N6 R4 O8 n+ W* q' _
•        Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
! H8 ^* s) I8 `" {9 ^•        Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients7 j- W/ b2 }0 \2 f% @3 @5 C3 A. W

Qualifications:
8 Q5 M6 W! E9 G2 K& ^/ G' l
* P0 y" Z  C0 Z•        Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
, v1 s8 ^: s$ c, _' R8 o6 _% g# Q•        Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS ; b; d2 X3 G: F; G" {. ?( `
•        Excellent verbal and written communication skills
, Q) O. N7 j0 Y. f•        Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work" }+ K9 I/ O# j; ]) C9 [
•        Able to interact positively with a diverse population
4 X( ]: _* u9 a4 K" F6 S•        Strong customer service skills
' C6 {: J+ J% [# r•        Strong organizational skills and abilities
  f4 X! \4 d; M$ d& Q% U•        Knowledge of HOMES database an asset! y$ V: v" U) J) z$ W
