The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals.  The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday.  The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

Job Responsibilities:
- l$ a4 g7 _9 D  U/ G3 u( G7 r+ ^% `$ i3 N
Reception:0 F2 q+ j1 t! h# t1 K( s4 @0 H
•        Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as         required
4 j6 |" f# N$ \. b•        Answer multi line telephone system

8 P; \/ I2 z9 H) nAdministration:2 m& I" S9 q) t2 v* [; |9 n
•        Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads/ d( H0 Q8 i+ j
•        File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
# }; [) v$ O& P•        Input and manage high volume of data
2 j2 w4 M) O  P* J% N9 F+ `•        Update and maintain databases
% |6 P1 V7 ^9 a( E' L+ L•        Generate monthly reports and statistics, o% i) r' \1 ]8 c& F) \6 E5 |
•        Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
9 W$ b+ t: L+ D•        Process payments and complete weekly deposits
  D' p# W, u6 z- |9 p1 e•        Write and revise business correspondence and forms
4 J% Y+ Y/ f% O6 T* h4 [5 B•        Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail         outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
* X) b1 Y' \8 m" U4 [2 O- r, _9 B•        Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre# z0 ^3 }  m& \0 @0 u2 B
•        Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients6 f1 x' W& d" A! w' `

Qualifications:# b) L) s9 S5 S# x
& _- M9 {: I& B/ Z! L
•        Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
5 W3 L! @" B! o( f2 f+ b•        Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS . a* u; A$ ~' t. y9 J8 \5 K( w% E
•        Excellent verbal and written communication skills
. @5 z/ I7 z' ]* C4 U" `7 D•        Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work; h/ ]+ A/ Y: B% y
•        Able to interact positively with a diverse population# y1 U4 |0 t$ A
•        Strong customer service skills

•        Knowledge of HOMES database an asset3 I5 ?8 j2 C+ y5 o+ b8 ?) t
