2 G. m, b! @" S+ H0 V# kMajor Responsibilities:
•        Process research equipment design;
•        Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
4 n7 s, z9 v( m+ L•        Equipment fabrication guidance;
+ c, I/ t. w4 `9 C/ f•        Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
6 b$ G0 f8 B+ |, h5 P•        Others.

1 c+ m# T3 a5 ZQualifications:
" o$ s: A6 v1 G4 ~2 j* q& n9 X% b7 M•        Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
•        Equipment design experience is required;
' @" x0 a# `+ j•        Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
•        Familiar with CAD software;
9 v8 r; {" |6 z+ N0 T0 Z6 G9 C; h•        Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
•        Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

Compensation:
+ D1 P. E7 {' a. ~Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
