Major Responsibilities:
+ I$ S" ^6 J5 f$ E5 C• Process research equipment design;2 W; B4 {. o! z
• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;$ L% @3 f6 C l, n- X7 C) Y
• Equipment fabrication guidance;
) o* i8 Y& D% S7 S" T; H4 C• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
- r* k& m. I/ k9 q2 r• Others. w/ A! a2 ^5 |( ^

Qualifications:
8 E2 d, s: y8 |" K- i# t• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months. . Y6 i; C5 s! C! }
• Equipment design experience is required;& D/ }" P* u$ A( i9 M
• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;7 g% d; S A- p$ u5 f
• Familiar with CAD software;
. s) |0 A+ K; i9 p' Y& {• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;2 o* h) |' n9 w6 t" q' U
• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

: v/ q5 s% I/ b: J# b2 }Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term. + n! d2 M* g% v7 ^$ k& {
