* @4 ]$ D# t! yAn engineering start-up, which is committed to support the R&D and industrialization of process technologies in North America with expertise and international resources, now accepts applicant for the position of Mechanical Engineer /Specialist through Industry r&D Associates program, Alberta Ingenuity.

Major Responsibilities:
•        Process research equipment design;
•        Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
# d, U, C. N1 s. M2 }3 H- r# o•        Equipment fabrication guidance;
6 ^& G0 `- h+ ?. C2 Q! M•        Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
9 e% E1 r! O- @2 J9 j4 ?6 A•        Others.

Qualifications:
•        Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
# l2 p, }: O- p•        Equipment design experience is required;
•        Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
# W% N, V9 q  S, ]3 n: k8 s•        Familiar with CAD software;
/ r& Y$ Y$ U; W1 X: R. i•        Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
•        Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

Compensation:
+ U1 w% g3 i% L/ `Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
