 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
+ `5 J/ A/ w" b2 {  ]9 o% e Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
: w+ W' {4 Y4 S3 ]7 X- N( J( q Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
6 ?: P, ], |) } Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
4 M) l! ?6 L- n3 ]5 a Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

  f& j8 K* W$ B9 R
 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
- S- b; B) c" {/ _6 Z; P Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

/ U: R. S+ I: N% HThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
( V) E  ?% S& r4 a4 `3 `starting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period.
