 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.9 H# S d# a4 N' p w# J
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.5 F( O5 B& ^: a4 [, _
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.

 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.

 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.5 P# R) ^6 D2 r" }, ]3 n
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.2 k7 V: Q. x5 j& H3 G
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
- S- b; B) c" {/ _6 Z; P Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc./ y9 R/ N8 k( P0 f P
 Knowledge of community resources.7 Y2 V& e5 t, l$ l7 P
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.- B. V( Y% C6 Q& M6 b7 F
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

/ U: R. S+ I: N% HThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
