Key Responsibilities & Duties:9 f, g m' u. J8 r! }" }+ i
% ~/ Y; `) S* s5 w D1 B" N Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
0 K5 s7 Z9 M) J5 ?$ j6 N Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.$ l4 _9 V$ E0 g: {+ B H3 [
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.

' G+ l! l$ U( w+ v4 V) ~5 t Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.

 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information. 0 ?% H6 f3 @. t% g7 r1 J; [- `; K6 ~
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
+ V' q1 s0 ]* y2 _, M2 N Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
# O$ @/ t9 }! {1 L Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
1 c m8 [1 X, G3 V Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.0 U* ^2 K5 |1 X" P1 l! [
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.' i" Z/ {, l& a L1 @* {2 E6 x6 g+ j
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.; V$ m/ D7 C+ o. s" Y
 Knowledge of community resources., A/ P! A: G I& a3 u f
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
! s+ g' i, z! u1 y: Q0 B Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.
