Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
& H) R1 o9 \1 N3 ument as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
) }( b7 H7 o' H7 t8 U- F# QThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
. D; W6 M8 m5 ]; bŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
, J7 D- S8 j* [9 RŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
& j# o1 d8 x2 G8 A' {% Csupport;
. j7 C: @& [6 e' YŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
- E( {6 x; a% a7 T% K6 PŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
3 W' s8 r7 G3 s/ P0 bŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
0 ]+ v' S9 ?  U  _7 ^Qualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
+ o! v- z; Y1 C% ieducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
