Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
/ L: Q  o5 n7 q7 ]" x- l* aManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
/ B( _0 e- l* l5 e  DThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
, }$ y& H1 b8 p( ]$ _5 tŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
7 \# }9 i% N4 n0 y: g5 dthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
1 D3 }" {( Z: Vimplementing staff wellness programs;
& U8 f/ @0 d$ W3 A1 R2 o+ ~Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;

Qualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
! `& n% y3 X6 k. B: nŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,

time of interview.
