Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
9 m$ u; e9 q: yThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
$ [  `) @1 f4 D, C8 ~the organization;
; P" Z+ x; _7 p8 mŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
7 c/ i9 A8 f" qimplementing staff wellness programs;
/ I3 ~  J. G0 R1 o9 R1 XŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
( E/ }+ m; y) F% u1 w4 m2 WŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
; w  G2 f6 ]8 j3 b) lŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
5 ~8 O" v6 L( R) S6 z. |2 ?Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
' b! B9 L; I* `  c/ {3 F) z4 X  Seducation and experience;
, G5 @3 {, Q5 `8 \8 y) s- ?3 ]) x' T! WŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
1 r" r$ ^% H2 Q2 i/ nŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
