Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
0 _, ]8 B2 V# @# Z5 N; Y- w+ cManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
0 G" D' `6 L: k" l5 ument as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
$ @* q+ m: G$ O4 E; A$ m6 g" QŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
3 t9 u$ L, P; ]( |+ [* y5 isupport;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
9 u' d( ?- ]! Q; ?6 k0 a9 k0 h9 J( mŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
0 K( q' ]! q: b; {- Z1 j0 yŸ Other duties as required.

Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
* t0 `5 ^9 w$ q  e* W, uŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
( J$ w* @; \% o3 P7 ]Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
' Q" O- A# k1 T: v9 CLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
