Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
+ M0 B0 r/ Q6 z# A8 K" mManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
1 \# {# D9 w& }8 D  L8 S7 Rment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
( G+ m, W: ?3 N0 j6 R. eŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
7 y4 H9 G5 F0 O6 Z* rthe organization;
6 _6 x- W) z, n4 Y6 b. m/ [7 u6 NŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
5 @! J6 @3 N7 u$ E& cŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
9 m' Q1 r; y! Wsupport;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
+ y+ t6 M9 Q; C1 @0 @, XŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
3 |+ m! w, O" A0 i% t' bŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
! i5 }5 X+ Z/ B4 H8 cŸ Other duties as required.
0 W# G2 A1 ^) u. |Qualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
9 z: {6 O8 q1 W. [education and experience;
1 e* }3 `5 x0 n2 u: k. ZŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
0 L( t6 ]7 `9 Wverbal and written.
3 V1 Q  e: Y5 B/ k0 m# ZLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
+ `, J* z3 t1 g0 X" ^8 }0 z$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
% S$ L  W& f. x2 i4 |4 tsuccessful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
