Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
- v2 t' D; |7 m% dManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
# G2 ~' J" i. P' r  K, j( O" ]$ mThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
: Q: _. I5 k5 l; Gthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
" N' q# o; g) H! L+ |% M8 qŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
8 d; ^' t; x! n  kŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
9 w4 p: ~3 B" `, G2 d3 Bimplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
7 l. s* f; n" l" J. V6 D; IŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
. v4 d) H! M0 }3 A8 [, HŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
  Y+ W# B$ }8 P9 k& q9 seducation and experience;
! g( t) p! b# c6 AŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
