Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
+ S& f  e- N0 Qment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
# o: C7 U, n3 R) L- x$ LThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
9 w* e/ p1 V. ~; l' M9 R' sthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
* _% z+ B5 k3 o$ r% v- M; |0 cŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
, ?8 Z2 W- |; C! {Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
8 |( |! U  ^. Y( D- {Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
+ N( p" ^! G3 y$ L; i, _1 B. D* }0 ~Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
: w, J+ v1 a: P5 o) g. FŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
' R' A9 B$ M/ j" J2 }1 ?Qualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
2 n) M' Q+ O6 N! D$ geducation and experience;
, k4 s+ M% p% L  G$ T/ D* Y9 vŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
# V& [0 y$ a2 JŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
5 t) L& }9 G; C+ l- {& W, {verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$ Z$ ?) g3 D) V0 z' X% n# h$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
; f4 p4 v: d& s& ddriver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
