This is a nine month appointment, with the possibility of extension.

Duties
: d9 O" x. S; L, y8 K" T; F  HSupports a team that is responsible for developing and maintaining desktop and on-line applications using Oracle databases, Oracle tools (Forms and Reports 6i), and Java in various flavors
Modifies forms and reports according to client specifications
Creates and modifies web-based front ends using Java, JSP and Struts
& \7 w! b! h& X' YAssists in the conversion of applications from older Oracle tools to an Oracle Application Server environment
Qualifications
5 U' B( @9 L# g- e" {4 Q* HB.Sc. in Computing Science; equivalent experience considered
7 K3 P, D% {/ D; z; R, W2 P8 C: X1 ESeveral years related experience in a similar environment
: ~6 [1 ?- c8 [) GKnowledge and experience in Java, JSP, Struts, Eclipse, Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms/Reports 6i
Knowledge and exposure to Oracle Application Server Enterprise Edition 10g and Oracle Forms and Reports 10g would be a definite asset
Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational and time management skills, accuracy and attention to detail
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills, strong commitment to client service, and a professional and positive approach
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a highly dynamic, energetic and demanding team
