Our Instructor/Facilitators provide meaningful learning experiences to our customers. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
8 O' Q5 b2 V" |1 \Post-Secondary education in Career Development, Human Resources, Social Sciences or related fields.
5 H* S$ g0 Z! [8 n3 G+ i$ BAdult education background
& q& @5 p1 O9 I5 i( Q! ^6 m1 cExperience in providing a variety of workshops in the areas of personal and professional development
Ability to deliver workshops for persons requiring specialized services
# E+ b: I+ w) U0 k2 g* y7 eExperience in facilitating group interaction and providing coaching with a client-centered focus
5 n/ O5 F5 ^" m+ p, o) g% [) B: hExtensive knowledge of the Edmonton and area labour market and the business and education communities
& W. B, q0 w5 }Computer proficiency
8 T9 F' b( s, H4 X+ G4 X8 I* d% DStrong writing, editing and proofreading skills
Understanding of the role of facilitator, the stages of group development, group roles and group leadership theories
0 I; E. W+ D: LDemonstrate techniques used in structuring group activities
) y; d# D1 L: _- \5 U0 aDisplay positive self-concept
9 G  M, j  m" [$ V2 ~- APossess excellent presentation, communication, and coaching skills
