Our Employment/Career Counselors provide professional support and assistance to our customers as they work towards meeting their employment needs. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
, r- H& n+ w# t7 ]0 p8 MPost-Secondary education in career development, human resources or related fields
6 k! x2 A4 H4 j+ qUnderstanding of, and demonstrated application of, the employment/Career counselling/coaching role
. n0 \$ r' h$ e/ D8 A& jExperience working with clients experiencing difficulty securing employment and a commitment to motivate and encourage such participants
4 B0 G6 c2 i9 l+ N% F8 YExcellent communication and negotiation skills
! l# `1 H3 r- x, JExperience in providing information in a group session and/or individually for one to one appointments s5 m& R3 z# L1 M4 ], b) o) _
Current knowledge of greater Edmonton labour market
