Our Employment/Career Counselors provide professional support and assistance to our customers as they work towards meeting their employment needs. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
Post-Secondary education in career development, human resources or related fields
$ X- ?/ {. q  f' XUnderstanding of, and demonstrated application of, the employment/Career counselling/coaching role
9 H  j# p. n: h2 iExperience working with clients experiencing difficulty securing employment and a commitment to motivate and encourage such participants
* j2 X' ^/ c7 p8 V5 w+ }5 yExcellent communication and negotiation skills
/ ^' ~8 h- f4 h& ?" R! g" dExperience in providing information in a group session and/or individually for one to one appointments
6 h% }2 ~+ p+ `4 Y0 u) t) M4 G! RCurrent knowledge of greater Edmonton labour market
