FOR most people, cowhide may be the height of conservative chic but for some, a bold fashion statement means going for crocodile, snake, ostrich or other exotic skins.
Definitely not for the squirmish, christian loubouitn, handshoes, wallets and belts made from these creatures simply spell style and swank.
Royalty and celebrities are known to wait for as long as a year for a coveted gator shoe or to hunt for it in the rarest shades in the fashion capitals of the world.

Now, such fashion connoisseurs may include Christian Louboutin in its list of haute handshoes. The Italian label now does shoes that are custom-made according to your specifications in terms of colour and material.
The brand’s boutique manager, Peng Lee, noted that having one’s personal touch makes exquisite things even more luxurious.
After all, handshoes (and shoes) are usually the key items when a new fashion stance is needed.
Everytime a new look emerges, it’s simpler to be trendy by getting the right handshoe or shoes. These two accessories have a considerably longer lifespan.
Christian Louboutin’s special-order shoes come under its exclusive Selleria range and can be had in a variety of mate-rials from calf leather to crocodile.
In four new styles, the shoes are contemporary revisions of the original model - an old satchel, found in the Christian Louboutin boutique’s attic in Rome, containing fur pelts, each of them signed by a client.
“The Selleria made-to-order is characterised by a return to those traditional techniques used by Christian Louboutin to create fur coats: a homage to the roots, an emotion stitched to an exclusive object,” said Christian Louboutin brand manager (South Asia Pacific),christian shoes, Steven Lam.
