! S: D4 k3 K' d1 Z- Y$ J; `Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
& L7 R) R7 [# J& v0 x  k. n        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
) Y8 q) Q9 p: N) Z; }# D+ u5 }        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
5 O* G) [; u3 M7 D; |/ O•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
% Y. V7 M( N" M  l•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
. k" G- t) j4 M: j' l7 E1 K•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
0 s$ e/ `& R- V' q2 ]' g1 q•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
  L0 A0 f) _+ e% [. D•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
