4 Q  S' Y% a) \6 W5 [Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
4 U: B7 b( @! x; [3 @6 y( F        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
6 N( _5 ~* r' ]: Z7 D        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
$ a1 w9 s' f) |3 F+ u* \. S        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
5 U  h9 A- m& Y% p8 b•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
0 ^! v- _- Y. c' |- R- z0 x2 _. z•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
7 ~7 S! e/ b, E9 Q•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
3 d, V8 f0 E/ \. d( K) W•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
