' [6 e" G4 G4 T, K& ^$ g" \Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
. t) }7 ~4 R1 f$ s# B6 b        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
" c7 O2 I! D/ Y7 u; N( B0 M9 d$ Y        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
, t* d0 ^- V/ W$ j. k9 ?7 v        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

7 H5 ?3 F9 u9 W2 L5 x9 ^QUALIFICATIONS:
; f8 A8 T( m! b  ^2 `•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
* \+ C* C# R6 U. a9 S# q( [•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
