请教关于R105免税申请表

我是来爱城的访问学者，拿工作签证，只呆半年，估计等不到明年2月份报税了。有朋友告诉我可以填个免税申请表，好像是R105表，如果符合条件就可以向加拿大税务局申请减免税。请问有人填过这个表吗？我下载这个表看了，上面说的是给非居民且self-employed的人，访问学者能填这个表吗？谢谢。
