The IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.- y2 x+ c$ Y9 F! r

§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers
$ V! D7 A7 w/ j8 a. b§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution : G3 O6 b8 B r; S9 l
§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation
. A; N( X) y/ E% z' J' b t! n§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times

/ h7 `: X$ k, s1 j§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert

§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience" q. S) ?* b/ X! Z- v
§ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others and work under minimal supervision

§ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple issues

§ Experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting client desktop software. j" [' g( Q d1 n9 C
§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems

§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan
