% k& D1 \ K& o' dThe IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.4 W& u0 s% R/ z

Responsibilities:
* ]' T& w! \; F§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers
5 G+ p' Y" r+ f! f+ o' J§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution
0 [: T# r" S8 X5 e, C* n8 H! E8 i§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation
2 D; J* d: Z8 r# r) t1 K: g§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times

§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert

§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems5 X/ y8 F: f& F. ) r$ k" z! p/ X; u/ T, [0 XThe IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto). 5 j* o4 X' T* X

§ Manage a stable local IT environment

§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation' S: {% g. P! d/ l T1 O
§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to" m- a1 e: Z4 U5 A/ R4 v9 @
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times) j; H. p. _& Q9 }% {& J
§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access; a1 b9 g) @; k6 s& f1 K2 K2 |
§ Develop and maintain backup and restoration procedures$ a+ X3 I4 q& p. E
§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan

§ Provide technical and procedural recommendations to management
