The IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.- y2 x+ c$ Y9 F! r

Responsibilities:$ A! T1 c" Q7 \: T
§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers
$ V! D7 A7 w/ j8 a. b§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution : G3 O6 b8 B  r; S9 l
§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation
. A; N( X) y/ E% z' J' b  t! n§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
* ^4 U+ G/ O9 F- v# l! v3 i: a§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
/ h7 `: X$ k, s1 j§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert
& u. i/ L( B) J1 g: C% s* r§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external parties) p8 s  O) a2 ]1 o7 x5 [2 |
§ Special projects as required

Qualifications:7 v! ~/ ]2 O1 C# y: M# _/ Y
§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience" q. S) ?* b/ X! Z- v
§ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others and work under minimal supervision
7 [4 {+ m. J- w- `§ Fundamental commitment to customer service& q; v2 G- t' `2 h
§ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple issues
3 E% M& p1 U- a1 |§ Proven knowledge of Dell, IBM, Xerox and Lexmark hardware. j, P! |  w0 W
§ Experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting client desktop software. j" [' g( Q  d1 n9 C
§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems

, {1 E" E' E( o' Q) E2 q/ G6 JThe IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto). 9 P1 g& [$ K  J& s

Responsibilities:
9 E$ v. b6 @& q7 _9 h% i; X§ Manage a stable local IT environment
, b) [% i9 e" l9 X$ O§ Manage and coach staff in IT group& Y8 t( l/ f6 J. G- j8 s
§ Oversee and provide small systems technical support2 \0 s% m4 H8 r2 b$ \; F  ]" @
§ Reporting to the Director of Finance and management on a monthly basis on status of IT projects and initiatives5 U/ J7 _) {" Z3 S' K
§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports
: M  C) U& z) F( q9 C8 B§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation0 X* p) m+ U8 K5 [/ R: o+ W( r
§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to" h4 E& K0 H6 D' Y& n/ R$ }
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times( k. s1 v. `$ ]1 E. F% j
§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access2 N: o) u5 s) Y4 Q
§ Develop and maintain backup and restoration procedures$ ~, y+ Z6 _* L; s
§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan
$ [) g" F' u- T/ N; e: o§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
0 \' \; t1 n3 @) W* |' v§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert9 P8 V% X4 y, p
§ Provide technical and procedural recommendations to management
: y3 a- @3 }' r9 x  e1 J§ Manage user ID request and approval process in conjunction with Director of Finance( g3 _  f$ z4 ]! x) I
§ Implementation and support of small systems technology initiatives in conjunction with SYSCO Canada IT
. U9 W3 H" e: s2 g5 x6 y/ ^§ Coordinate and support end user training
' P& K2 _9 D# A7 M1 o§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with IT related suppliers and service providers
7 V# ]. g. Y+ X& V/ s( f§ Collaboration on development of internal intranet and external website maintenance

呵呵,不是manager 就是administration.

在国内应征的话还敢。在这里既没加拿大经验,英语也不好,想都不去想这些位置啊。
