Responsibilities:

& w6 H' {4 M1 R4 ]1 i* _5 ?§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution 2 @/ m1 n6 k+ s* P& [/ ?; f; U; ?
§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation6 p& i) |" p d/ V
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times

4 B2 b' L+ R: [. D9 _§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert! n8 U; e( _! i; [0 {" x

§ May be required to provide after hours pager support for emergency trouble calls

§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience" C4 v* s8 h0 o" f

§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems

This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto). $ j' M! e+ ` n! A1 q

§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation% [/ z% f7 h$ h& O5 ]. n" }
§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to# R( i8 g A+ j' c1 J X- {/ E
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times* |- P" P9 c) ?, Z2 w9 r" C" v0 E* Z8 Q
§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access' g \& X) d: m' Y7 D- v

§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
