, `& l/ D+ _2 A% OThe IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.+ A& o* s/ _7 ~5 J5 x7 B

§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers
5 a$ ^& O+ O" A) B! z5 r§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution % P! k$ S1 z$ u- r
§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation
$ i' W7 z9 \, p# z( k§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
/ C. Y; d' @  M+ B! T4 d6 W8 b4 P§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk2 I/ I8 Q+ M% x: y7 @! T
§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert

§ May be required to provide after hours pager support for emergency trouble calls

§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience
* _. j+ f/ Z- N: M) ^. P/ e3 q§ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others and work under minimal supervision
; H- R- G9 a" h§ Fundamental commitment to customer service
3 [! r7 J/ B6 Q- h8 B- z§ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple issues
$ d# ^! M0 k) d! P; a/ m8 k§ Proven knowledge of Dell, IBM, Xerox and Lexmark hardware
8 K( B7 e$ C  U0 C2 j0 W, L# ^§ Experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting client desktop software" n  W, D& \3 s0 R" `
§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems& Y# Y( r, {& R: m5 n7 J

Position: IT Manager

The IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto).

Responsibilities:- h% H) p! B5 _) U
§ Manage a stable local IT environment , U* i! p# O6 e! X7 M
§ Manage and coach staff in IT group
. X: W% M$ c3 F) Z8 b0 M§ Oversee and provide small systems technical support
* `0 H. m6 u& @7 \§ Reporting to the Director of Finance and management on a monthly basis on status of IT projects and initiatives) D3 Q7 `* {4 r* ~$ j
§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports4 e. c2 K3 `  p
§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation
  h1 \* h( K: ]( e( \2 z! y5 F5 Z§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to$ H+ ?3 ^! w% d  ~
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
' s# ]# w$ a" {. G; o( N' G§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access) E# ?8 o5 K9 e$ [3 g3 J7 H# I5 K
§ Develop and maintain backup and restoration procedures
5 y: C% I3 O3 l# \§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan
: m8 f: o3 O: U. t) Q§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk

§ Provide technical and procedural recommendations to management1 q6 o6 M9 h9 a5 n4 ~
§ Manage user ID request and approval process in conjunction with Director of Finance
2 L6 ?! N' Y/ @1 \2 n# h5 V1 @§ Implementation and support of small systems technology initiatives in conjunction with SYSCO Canada IT; R8 ~. X- D9 u
§ Coordinate and support end user training
- G6 W* r- c5 N/ M- W! c# e8 X§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with IT related suppliers and service providers
) f, q7 E/ K; f( Y$ I# g§ Collaboration on development of internal intranet and external website maintenance

在国内应征的话还敢。在这里既没加拿大经验,英语也不好,想都不去想这些位置啊。
