On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.6 I' F" c* O. E, ^: z- F
# y3 y- W X& ?3 [Bring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:

. @9 g \# r; e3 M2 c, O% h2 q& S. jlearning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut 6 u0 e+ G0 u! A; q- ^
digging for and examining fossils
8 q( H0 w% z* iexploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth
2 y, z" y' A! J4 @investigating insects
2 w H+ W7 ^: p, @# S1 ?! z) S' q) Uand much more!, z4 E! N# J( L
“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.
