Position Responsibilities:
9 \: h1 J' H6 F1 }* R* ?& W( l- T" n•        Installation, configuration and trouble shooting of software for process control
! u; c$ v4 V6 A9 U; z. u7 \•        Identification and replication of software defects  9 J2 G! R4 M/ i" W6 A' w
•        Phone and e-mail support for internal and external clients  7 E7 ^+ b; B& W& E3 t6 O
•        Managing customer expectations
/ l7 s% p0 b3 {% G. F9 @•        Documentation of technical procedures # @: y! ^0 t+ r. H
•        Trouble shooting client network issues
$ }3 ?: _6 {. I1 [•        Optimizing system configurations  
0 q( R4 [: [6 ~! d" X; o6 c/ Z; [  _•        Low key software development tasks (not a requirement)
! k9 e$ d" G7 ~, t/ G6 S" e$ d: R6 x•        Responsible for maintenance of internal ticketing system 4 G' ?8 g: F; Q  k8 K
•        Involvement in the development and design of a trouble shooting tool for client.

•        Work evenings as required
" k- x% _) c3 H/ m7 N& b( B; g; O' P2 H. ^Skills and Knowledge Required: K$ J4 }  s5 W0 L
•        Customer service skills
' I9 P3 X, L$ s+ }$ P* s( A; c•        Technical writing skills 8 Z0 F8 I: R: S+ k
•        C++ development skills / i: _0 v1 Q( |0 r! W8 Y
•        Software Trouble shooting skills, or the ability to recognize external issues.2 e; {: H; d# Q% b- u
•        Network trouble shooting skills " T+ A" Y2 @7 T+ V0 W4 m
•        Excellent interpersonal and team skills - \2 o9 A. \% D% z/ i+ c
•        Comfort dealing with multiple and varied assignments
: e' y% d2 |9 a' u•        General knowledge of databases and SQL (this would be preferred, but is not a requirement)

•        Technical degree or diploma " @, Z& Q4 i* E. V
•        2 years experience in a technical support role
