The Millwoods Seniors Association is currently hiring for the position of Program Assistant4 q) q7 C: c( O( X
Our vision is to enhance the well-being of persons over fifty-five years of age in the Millwoods and Meadows geographical area. + @7 F8 v1 y6 r" ~. \( ?+ I2 e
5 m. k+ e0 d; EIn this dynamic role, you will provide assistance in all areas of the Millwoods Seniors Programs. As a member of the staff team in Millwoods, you will work with a volunteer-based Program Committee, to support and supervise community recreation, social, and education programs for seniors 55 years and older. You will develop schedules, allocate space, keep records of fees, petty cash, inventory and supplies along with other miscellaneous duties. The successful candidate will work in accordance with guidelines, policies and best practices of our developing Seniors Centre and other local agencies.
9 l! d& Z- S+ Q. s9 v: {6 g. R/ lYour High School or College Diploma is complemented by your familiarity with the needs and issues of Edmonton Seniors. You should also enjoy working with older adults. Proficiency with MS Office applications is required. Flexibility to support occasional organizational activities taking place during the evening or on weekends is expected.
