Job description: 7 W, ~" Z% N( b/ x( p1 o4 w
- Prepare and mix metalizing solutions according to formulas or specifications
2 G+ w% i `; c4 E$ n* e- Operate and control electroplating equipment to coat metal and other objects3 E7 V2 [& T* W/ \, p5 f* x
- Operate hot-dip metal plating equipment to galvanize metal and other objects; M8 p/ ~: I: l& p/ S! v3 Q
- Tend automatic metal coating machine which conveys objects through series of cleaning, rinsing and plating solutions+ y4 P" w3 X% y3 y* e3 M
- Operate spray equipment to build up worn or damaged parts or to bond protective or decorative coatings on metal objects
) R. H1 r Q9 P5 V4 m9 m% D- Check proper thickness of plating using micrometers, callipers or other devices
4 F+ q( j1 {% e9 E% y- Clean and prepare metal parts for coating
