我在博客上帖了我们一大早赶飞机的照片,孩子们累得睁不还眼,我下面写的评注是: it's hard to tell that we were tired isn't it?
9 [2 j0 x* q: o$ ~' [there, I was being ironic
* B$ l6 I) ]* f" |6 {ironic 还可以形容一个situation, 比如:al gore is portrayed as a front line fighter for environmental issues, ironically he owns one of the most gas consuming cars in the world. (好容易让我编出这么个例句来!)
2 s! |& G- a* F7 Y$ zsarcastic
9 l! |3 @6 F( P6 Q美女: are you being sarcastic?9 g8 Z5 u4 N, c& S$ b- x, P
如花: i swear, i mean it, you are one of the most beautiful girls i‘ve even seen!( v9 e% C) f. ^; T# x+ e2 u
美女: thanks! ironically i was just told by my brother:if you are not pretty, better be polite。 |
