几年前看电影you 've got a mail 学了个词ironic
* ?! L6 \, \% X& T+ O( K$ _ P) _/ V: e& _

# f0 \" d* u2 U) y, x2 D* l( G; v" I9 w d0 x
ironic:
3 S9 }; z; n: e: S6 p我在博客上帖了我们一大早赶飞机的照片,孩子们累得睁不还眼,我下面写的评注是: it's hard to tell that we were tired isn't it? k) {" ]& T8 z! M
there, I was being ironic# f( C/ T+ H1 _& ?/ L: Z( y
ironic 还可以形容一个situation, 比如:al gore is portrayed as a front line fighter for environmental issues, ironically he owns one of the most gas consuming cars in the world.
& k% {4 ^/ o& R5 X% B3 Y2 n美女: are you being sarcastic?) i! V" c o* F% C; n- O
如花: i swear, i mean it, you are one of the most beautiful girls i‘ve even seen!
4 l: j( ^0 A1 P, E$ X* s# B. f/ z美女: thanks! ironically i was just told by my brother:if you are not pretty,better be polite。 |
