几年前看电影you 've got a mail 学了个词ironic
2 z7 k& T: Y$ e4 U! w

" j, Q: ^7 m0 `, kironic:
/ H5 w. q" ^/ n, ] l) k+ @我在博客上帖了我们一大早赶飞机的照片,孩子们累得睁不还眼,我下面写的评注是: it's hard to tell that we were tired isn't it?
, D9 H) @+ z$ p5 J9 B. wthere, I was being ironic( n7 d: f% T7 A- q6 D! i: B' _
ironic 还可以形容一个situation, 比如:al gore is portrayed as a front line fighter for environmental issues, ironically he owns one of the most gas consuming cars in the world. (好容易让我编出这么个例句来!)& k0 D1 n# r* m: @% q' q- f* d5 G

如花: i swear, i mean it, you are one of the most beautiful girls i‘ve even seen!
+ U% F+ x3 c( l/ K; r% y美女: thanks! ironically i was just told by my brother:if you are not pretty,better be polite。 |
