fun可以是名词，比如

& H# q8 q& Y& o; e' b  x为什么用the most fun place 而不是 the funnest place呢？这是我在CBC听新闻学到的。我猜想原因是the funnest place 和 the funniest place 意义不同但发音一样，为了避免混淆，不用funnest这种形式。

& O5 W. h& q1 E% l1 Efunny大家都知道的意思是可笑，滑稽，或者有趣。

但我最近发现在英语里，funny的一个非常常见的固定用法是用于发生某些巧合的场景。

比如你家有朋友来吃饭，闲聊时他说有个什么旅游公司骗子成天打电话可真讨厌。你说

That's so funny. They called me right before you came.

funny好像确实是贬义用得多些，表示古怪、无法理解。
