Position: Project Coordinator, Smart Choices.
& ]+ I* t8 G# O: G! x8 u! K, UTerms: Full-time (35 hours per week).
Compensation: Based on experience & qualifications.

-        Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
-        Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
1 K+ w& {, }6 k2 X5 \-        Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
, I- ~1 n3 F" {* B# c' {3 F-        Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
-        Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

Key Qualifications:
# o4 o6 l! @$ ~! s-        Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
-        At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
  C6 a( Y$ F0 ~$ }1 ~5 X* k7 J-        Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
-        Experience doing program development
-        Strong organizational and coordination skills
-        Self-directed and able to take initiative
-        Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
-        Vehicle and valid drivers’ license

  B. q" k0 A3 E7 r5 ?-        Experience conducting community needs assessments and program evaluation
-        Knowledge of and experience working with immigrant and refugee communities

: ?  Q5 p- S' M9 K- q  C) D-        Skills in marketing & promotions

Other: The successful candidate will be required to undergo a police security check and child welfare check at their own expense.
