: i( {/ N/ N5 L$ z; T- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth' H4 S3 ?' o f) Q6 ]3 D3 K& A
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
5 R& V0 a0 |- Z- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
, d( T' k U- o, D3 J- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs$ n+ u9 P# D( X7 {. I$ m/ h
- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

Key Qualifications:6 ?" @4 z, A' M# }: v& p" f& r
- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
. U/ l4 A3 N8 a& H9 T- W- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
% A& j% x) o$ K, Z* [: v- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
# ~! D1 M* i% x+ h' Z- Experience doing program development
( t/ H7 r$ |; e; R; h) _6 m* b- Strong organizational and coordination skills
L6 F0 |$ b4 S! }4 |% }# t$ b- Self-directed and able to take initiative- o2 ?) O% W0 R# z0 Q( M& o5 t
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset9 i' z! z# L7 R+ b$ }$ Q
- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license

* i, x( o, _$ C/ }- Experience conducting community needs assessments and program evaluation

- An understanding of the relationship between addictions and mental health
