- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth, ^7 U5 Q) X0 U7 s" z
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling9 ?' z4 [9 `8 k# R* P
- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups( k5 o* w$ Y7 j6 i# C3 n, _
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
4 V6 d& l( M9 C. l- L0 m- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health5 n+ }) h* V+ S8 Z- M: {( h; G

Key Qualifications:* G4 _* u0 H# G! h
- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences1 v* m# _% ~) X, K# _) W7 T1 I
- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement, e: q# B# f7 q! l3 N+ y& Y
- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others! |8 Z( a% g) z
- Experience doing program development/ ~$ q; d. E' z8 r
- Strong organizational and coordination skills; g( ^. |& ^4 c% l: W! }& b$ F
- Self-directed and able to take initiative6 W/ N4 s& ?$ g$ R# O
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
( h& a$ T# r# |- ^6 u5 S7 ~% Y- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license: ]6 P% m6 d/ W. \1 y% m& t0 k+ T& L
