Responsibilities:
6 }3 K4 i, W* N9 G& \- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth, M4 Z! j6 J5 U5 V e$ W- S$ o
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling" f9 T5 ]4 O& T. Y5 t4 I
- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
1 M. z5 `" I- Z0 J- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
5 \: T* t; z `5 u& T' e& y- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences6 i9 \+ h1 X, d
- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
/ G6 B" y9 i9 J: R/ X e) h3 D0 W- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others1 ^( d; N* u; J. Z
- Experience doing program development
4 ?0 {, M( Z( |1 [1 ^7 Z$ f- Strong organizational and coordination skills# T& ~3 ?) i$ W% o8 `
- Self-directed and able to take initiative
2 ~6 N7 y l& V2 N+ d h- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset* i, n% c0 z7 O" L! Q' D( Y. f
- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license# m0 B$ N- N4 H# d2 Y- P0 _
