A Chinese saying goes like this--illness comes like landsliding but goes like cocoon stripping" so many years ago when I saw the word "patient" for the first time, I remembered the two meanings immediately--when one requires medical care, he needs to be enduring without complaint. A patient needs to be patient. These days, however, I have sort of changed my mind. Sometimes a person is willing to be so patient as to become a patient. Care is required, not necessarily medical though. c) E+ [7 I5 o# }0 G6 h" j

Homesickness to me definitely includes missing the food in China. Several days ago, I learned from the Internet how to roast ducks. Yum yum...7 |; F! j, d! c$ T4 ], X
