PRINCE RUPERT, B.C. — A strong earthquake occurred early Tuesday in the Queen Charlotte Islands region off of B.C.'s central west coast, according to Earthquakes Canada.0 {; s: S/ @& U7 V0 T* A* G

According to the Geological Survey of Canada, the Pacific coast is the most earthquake-prone area in the country.
