Job Duties / Responsibilities
This role is responsible for the following activities representing  site:
• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
. s2 s& r) B  d% `. ?1 G• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
. s) G' ^0 Q) A% N+ P; K• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
8 }9 o( @. `1 @) `" L6 b  h6 h0 z• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
1 g5 X% d) K$ ]. t, u• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams
• Autocad and Microstation drafting
6 Z* I6 y, D2 H- F2 l  F6 U- Y; h• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
: M+ _- S. ^- \: K: L' l: ~• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
9 a1 d  w  I/ Z$ x) h. |8 f& Y• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
+ Z2 x: b8 ^7 h, g• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
3 U2 v  C6 M* p( h• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset.
