Job Duties / Responsibilities) g3 N; L+ v+ F1 G
This role is responsible for the following activities representing site:
5 [$ v0 I7 v- K; h( {- w8 n• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support4 Z: o5 @1 L' ?+ F) y# k/ b* c
• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel* H+ H& Q& B- b% ~ b
• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
4 B3 R' `/ K% s! O9 `• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
' T4 e8 q5 c, F, @' l• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams
! L4 s2 t# e. M' z" S• Autocad and Microstation drafting/ g/ D" U" d5 m! f
• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables! S8 P, ?" s3 p! M# Z! S% w
• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator3 |) F3 S1 N5 O* D$ {- b- B! V
• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

Education / Experience
2 Y+ ]7 t7 _6 L8 P8 ?% U• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
U! b/ b& h# A5 q; s% A! c• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
6 E L4 a* T) |1 \+ X/ r/ A• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered: l$ ] J# _3 o8 T, u* m o
• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required" O5 L2 |8 {8 Q+ T; I1 A" F$ [
• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset! i# N: `6 h. T* q1 Q6 F
• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset. |
