Job Duties / Responsibilities
This role is responsible for the following activities representing  site:
• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
' y( @  N2 ~  A9 ~% P3 [7 q, K- ]• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams

6 s/ k7 x. n; W• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
6 X* c% }/ P- ~• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
7 p/ D4 A1 }9 {1 [1 T• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

Education / Experience
5 I. |; L! S+ _1 z5 r' U• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
& W( {. P7 \' `) a: i% x• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
: ]+ l" W3 P+ b6 {1 K/ m" }) J0 j• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
9 [+ Y7 F* I0 V+ Y• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset.
