3 u6 t5 j! S# @- E% o# M! d: f% cThis program is for immigrants and members of visible minorities who have an interest in a career in law enforcement.

Start date: November 2, 2009 End date: March 31, 2010.
Programs run from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm

- u' \0 s# X1 UYou must be/have:
5 w$ E  P+ i; p$ j2 B• Alberta High School Diploma (or equivalent)
/ A; M% p! _  y2 y' s1 M4 S• Unemployed or underemployed
• Minimum 18 years of age
7 a9 F, v6 z" H  E• Good moral character
• Good health and physical condition
• Good written and verbal communication skills – must be at a CLB 6+
• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
6 A' e5 N+ r% s0 ]• No criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted
  @; s- y+ X: b- h* J) x• Eligible for financial assistance, or willing to pay tuition
• Citizenship documents: Permanent Resident Card or recent Canadian
