Our mandate is to provide access to information and resources that will assist entrepreneurs and the small business community to start and grow their business. The Business Link’s toll-free business information line, web-based services, innovative uses of video conferencing technologies, and walk-in centers in Edmonton and Calgary ensure clients throughout Alberta have access to our many resources.9 _8 ?  ^. t# e$ r) R4 x

We are currently looking for a Client Services Representative to assist us with welcoming clients to our centre, recommending services based on their inquiry, coordinating office maintenance, administrative duties, and data entry.; V7 Y( l: @. R( n; n* C) v

Position Summary

•        Providing exceptional client service to walk-in and phone clients of The Business Link and tenant organizations
/ Z$ ]$ _% }( f& K: C•        Keeping calendar of events up to date including arrangement and acceptance of new bookings and successful completion of scheduled meetings
4 [9 Y( o  D( @•        Working closely with the Business Marketing Officer to ensure that the front desk displays are in compliance with TBL’s marketing approach
9 X' w; n$ A# [7 E•        Promoting TBL products and services - a- G/ U7 n! T( C7 E' D$ l
•        Accurately processing sales and performing daily cash balance & C  c; N# ]) f
•        Providing appropriate paperwork to account payables and receivables ) e6 J; }, c7 d8 J. A; I& c  Y9 |
•        Taking part in team and individual projects that will contribute to efficient provision of TBL’s services across Alberta 4 d" A9 y" w+ y8 ^2 F
•        Keeping accurate tracking of client interactions – data entry
% F5 |( ^0 m9 ?6 [- {/ k•        Assisting with administration of the Guest Advisor Program . o4 `. e& L! I6 O) m1 E
•        Arranging catering for various meetings % e( B' P/ y* z0 C! y: v
•        Opening and closing of The Business Link Office , t. v6 E9 v( o$ y$ P5 W: T7 `3 A+ X
•        Ensuring that the front desk and boardrooms are clean, tidy, and stocked with supplies at all times

Education and Experience, z6 N- u* d9 t( p  u
9 ^) g6 @0 B% Z' P1 q
•        Minimum 2 years of Customer service experience
* n, r' I  r; g8 i/ L•        Administrative experience including reception, cash register, and scheduling
" ?7 l4 B) x/ U1 g7 T! d# o2 r•        College Certificate or Diploma in related field.; s* c# h( c* Q0 O; W

        Strong work ethic
9 t  O/ l7 f1 e. x& k: r        Professional, diplomatic and  self-starter

        Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships at all levels of the organization
