  ?# Q! g8 g4 R- v  g6 VThe Automation Department is responsible for all activities, programs and projects related to the above mentioned systems and applications as well as the field instrumentation.

9 z4 m# B7 T& F! j3 ^% c! WThe Process Automation CO-OP position works with Instrumentation, Systems and Process Control Engineers, as well as DCS Specialists, to ensure timely execution of new projects and maintenance activities. It reports to the Process Automation Supervisor or his designee.

The Automation assignment provides an opportunity to learn about:
• Instrumentation, Distributed Control Systems, PLC, Special Control Systems, Configuration of systems, hardware and software maintenance, applications development and support
• All aspects of the project development life cycle
. O6 j4 n- o. ^) n) h$ s- ]• Life in a multi-site, multi-disciplinary team

Specific Duties/Responsibilities:
) y5 {5 ?* ~1 A* E• Identify and resolve requirements related to field instrumentation or process control systems
• Develop and / or maintain applications at the Process Control or Information Systems level
- m8 S/ m; u- z! p7 T4 n6 V• Help with the installation of new hardware, software and equipment
5 {! y1 ]0 {( j" Z& ^4 x* i. Z6 P• Develop small projects

Education / Experience
# S6 ?  M/ H8 s" Q4 }4 W& H: ^% l: G& RWe are looking for a candidate following Chemical, Electrical or Systems engineering studies, with emphasis in control and instrumentation

• Refinery type instrumentation

• Working in a team environment
