4 k% S' e- a$ |3 @" K6 b& y9 JCHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.

• Maintain an organized filing system for office records, meeting minutes, government registrations and donor records; Process annual government and charitable registrations forms.

• Order and organize office supplies; Manage and maintain office systems and environment including policy and procedures manual and office operations manual.+ J# K9 _- F& B6 j8 T! P) ?

• Process volunteer applications, track volunteer hours, and assist with volunteer scheduling.9 z+ y" w' S) y7 u7 w! [$ V' S! b

• Compile information packages for fundraising and promotional purposes.

• Provide administrative support for public engagement events and mail outs.

• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.+ j8 p5 d9 F: n$ d- {

• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions

5 F- [) \. Z, L- l• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.3 {& Q! K- }' O& n( r. |

• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events.

5 y6 }0 k8 F" Z' iSkills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.' n% @! s.
