Police arrest two men after complaint of smelly truck carrying 1,500 pot plants

EDMONTON - Two men are facing charges after Edmonton police pulled over a truck filled with freshly cut marijuana plants.

/ t3 d8 w& s8 e8 L: \: ^4 U) A" IPolice say they got a tip Thursday night from a citizen who told them he'd been driving behind a cube van that was giving off a strong odour of marijuana.

6 ^4 Z/ ^) Y* J$ fOfficers who responded to the call said they also smelled the pot plants about half a block before they pulled over the van.

Charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking have been laid against Dihn Xuan Luu, 44 and Deng Xuan Dihn, 51. |
