Police arrest two men after complaint of smelly truck carrying 1,500 pot plants

EDMONTON - Two men are facing charges after Edmonton police pulled over a truck filled with freshly cut marijuana plants.

Police say they got a tip Thursday night from a citizen who told them he'd been driving behind a cube van that was giving off a strong odour of marijuana.% {' s [ @7 U) {' L- i" [% K

Officers who responded to the call said they also smelled the pot plants about half a block before they pulled over the van.
