If you have an accounting diploma and you wish to take your BBA in the Finance Emphasis, there may be some additional courses that would be required before you could move onto the advanced 3rd and 4th year finance courses. Typically students who have a diploma in finance would expect to take 20 more courses to complete their degree. Students without a finance diploma should speak with an academic advisor to develop a degree program plan and determine which courses you would need to meet your degree requirements.
Courses in the Applied degree do overlap with the BBA program. This allows students an opportunity to transfer from one to the other. The major difference between the two is that the Applied degree is 10 more courses and one year of Directed Field Studies where as the BBA is 20 more courses and has no Field Studies component.
