Job Description:

Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents manually or by computer 7 x, e; }/ J$ B; A/ ?8 a; ?% I
Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or in computer system, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions
7 k% D( @2 ?9 I' V* O. F i' hOversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances
* q/ Q3 R$ x: e/ z3 Y" y) L0 jInspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods
! R |* A+ B; o* y% BUnpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas
1 F9 f. x" p( f" x- AMaintain internal, manual or computerized record-keeping systems 6 x! {% ?* L ]. I$ ` ?6 P$ y
