• Supports company environmental, health, safety, security practices and policies.
% s( ?" @6 @9 M- [+ q! p• Is compliant with Nexen corporate policies on integrity, ethics and drug / alcohol.
• Ensures that health and safety standards are achieved and maintained by the warehouse team.
• Is participating member of the Material Management/Warehouse Team that receives an

place (person), at the right time, for the right cost.

* p* d6 D$ [" n7 P3 K• Reports to the warehouse supervisor who is responsible for the to day operating activities within the warehouse.
; F$ Q7 v4 n2 P# _+ G• Participates in special projects and continues improvement initiatives.
$ L0 x3 H1 j6 e, K• Receipts of goods to ensure quality and correctness In vendor shipments.
• Complete all shipping and receiving records for incoming and outgoing consignments of goods including T.D.G.
• Ensures materials are inspected and received into inventory, issues materials on an ad hoc basis to end users.
6 h2 c7 l; s9 ^1 m' ?: }• Hands out material and ensure quality and correctness of goods.
• Maintains accurate inventory records to optimize material inventory.
8 D$ H( R/ @. }! i• Manages bar code labeling process and ensures all materials received are issued a bar code label.
• Conducts warehouse and yard activities to ensure that all materials received or issued have documentation and that this documentation properly processed within company SAP system.
6 b+ E6 Q, ~4 U/ l6 N( [3 x• Reports of shortages, damages and deficiencies in timely manner.
• Works together with other warehouse team members , planners, maintenance team, vendors and transportation companies to assure that materials at site meet timelines and schedules.
• Runs SAP reservation orders and picks and stages materials for pick-up by end user.
• Provides SAP transactional support to end users as required.
5 w: l7 h" d* M+ Z  R• Arranges for SAP to Plant transfers as identified by the re-order report.
• Reconciles and resolves inventory transaction variances in SAP.
5 J" |4 y' V, J% I, w7 U• Forwards Material Master Description variances to Inventory Control coordinator in Calgary for
. k' k& ?, j9 Q+ K+ q) |resolution.
• Identifies material standardization opportunities and proposes changes with end user.
• Ensures documentation is completed for processing repair and return materials.
! O! A6 L$ g0 y6 b% h; [$ t• Manages the issue and return of tools from the Tool Crib.
2 j; R2 a$ d4 z7 @+ o" W0 \% ]• Inspects tools returned to Tool Crib, sends tools out for repair or initiates replacement for tools that are not in good working order.
, P8 S: @' W; [5 e; ^• Is familiar with MSDS standards for handling of hazardous products.
6 j# L& j$ O6 ]7 [: b7 a5 {9 N• Ensures all issue counter transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Establishes and maintain cooperative, respectful and effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. (Various Site Team and Groups).
/ {) o3 C; H& U& g9 O& p% d6 n( L• Acts as a first line of contact for expediting delivery of goods.
• Ensures that all items are stored safely, accurately and securely.
/ h1 F: Z& ~: M& |) j• Assists warehouse supervisor as required in review of MRP re-order reports for inventory replenishment
• Manages schedules, deadlines and accountabilities as assigned.
, L. J& s9 N' x5 f6 p( N• Assists in inventory analysis process, in the performance of audits, cycle counting and stock checking of inventory.
• Has ability to rotate within all Warehouse Positions as required. Provide support (training, practices and procedures) to the warehouse team members.
• Aids in the facilitation of process streamlining and implementation of effective material management solutions.
• Performs other Assignments or Project work as required.

" m7 y9 I* E$ n( U2 E- ~( v! p• Grade 12 / GED.
• Must have working knowledge of SAP Material Management module, MS Word & Excel.
( M  [" C& g% C' A8 q1 X• Excellent Interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
• Warehouseman¿s trades certification an asset.
: ~6 B! v7 _" L! l4 T! V• Oil and Gas material experience an asset.
) F- V8 i4 |- i• MSDS, TDG, WHIMS training is required.
• 2-5 years warehousing and materials experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
