There is no National Park in Windsor, Ont.
. t A: \; g0 M4 j6 g8 vPoint Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.+ o9 I# y4 i9 o6 y
It is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only.

The National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).1 o |1 H4 E3 ^; U( }) f
Great hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see.* B. O3 @+ T% C
The ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.. S- `& g! e( P) C! u, w* e

There are also two Provincial Parks within an hours drive- Wheatley Provincial Park(closest), and Rondeau (farther to the west) if you wish to camp. |
