There is no National Park in Windsor, Ont.
8 s4 i U2 R* l- f3 T; w/ ~' ~Point Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.1 F/ w7 R$ B1 V+ R1 q
It is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only.* d1 s" Q( ^0 Y

The National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).9 m0 ^5 a( b6 {
Great hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see. L9 S/ n' K! `( R( v
The ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.# g2 `9 z3 B y; K

There are also two Provincial Parks within an hours drive- Wheatley Provincial Park(closest), and Rondeau (farther to the west) if you wish to camp. |
