In celebration of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, artists and performers of the Chinese Ballad Singer Association, China Acrobats Association, Chinese Musicians Association and Chinese Dancers Association will be touring four Canadian cities this fall. Initiated by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the performance aims to promote the non-governmental cultural exchange between Canada and China. , ]" v! q+ o8 g
* W5 s8 D- @& b+ k0 `/ AThe “We Are a Family” performance Sunday, September 13 at the Shaw Conference Centre at 7:00 PM is also a gift to the people of Edmonton and surrounding area for their incredible support during the Sichuan Wenchuan earthquake of 2008. Organized by the Alberta Canadian Chinese Cultural Exchange Centre, this performance will support the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation-Prairies/NWT Region.
