The market trend has reversed. Your mistake could be summarized as "ke zhou qiu jian." ! z ]; l& w: | ( E4 y, w8 J0 H4 Z n. ~5 AYou won't be able to 挽回面子 unless the market cools down.
I have an unhappy experience on making offer for a new house. The cost estimate of the sale's person is $490,000. I offered $460,000. The sale person prepared all documents of contract. After I sign all documents, he submitted to the builder (the Owner). The counter offer is $20,000 higher than original cost estimate but implied that $490,000 will be accepted. I rejected this counter offer and turn to resale market. It appears to me that resale market is good at that time. I can find a good deal with idea location for family.
