前一阵子，朋友买了个1800尺的two-story

价格从41万讲到38万，我觉得很牛了

今天又有个朋友想买个2000尺的two-story，价格从54万怎么也将不下来，builder（classic lankmark)说最多也就给几千块off。

我出的主意是水屁股走人，他照做了，builder没有拦着他。他还埋怨我的主意懒，我说了去找下个builder看看价格怎么样，但是他还想回去再跟那个builder商量，我觉得只要他回去了，就败下阵来了. 但是他解释每个builder的specs不一样，所以比较起来，apple to apple 很麻烦，他觉得这个builder的specs已经很好了，大约是180每平方尺。

有经验的朋友给出出主意吧。让我挽回面子

The market trend has reversed. Your mistake could be summarized as "ke zhou qiu jian."

You won't be able to 挽回面子 unless the market cools down.

人家就失去了最喜欢房子的机会。是你的面子重要，还是人家的终身大事重要？除非你帮他找个更满意的。

我知道西南区有个2300英尺，two-story的好房子，才47万5。房子几乎全新的，有很多upgrad。其实比新房更加有价值：房子的装修，landscaping，fencing，车库等等都已经做好了，这等于可以省下一大笔钱。在靠近Ellersille Road北MacEwan小区。小区环境优雅，治安良好。你带朋友去看看的话，他一定更满意的。

I have an unhappy experience on making offer for a new house. The cost estimate of the sale's person is $490,000. I offered $460,000. The sale person prepared all documents of contract. After I sign all documents, he submitted to the builder (the Owner). The counter offer is $20,000 higher than original cost estimate but implied that $490,000 will be accepted. I rejected this counter offer and turn to resale market. It appears to me that resale market is good at that time. I can find a good deal with idea location for family.
