中国股市由于没有做空机制，所以一般来说一旦趋势确立，就很难会有像样的改变。这样就导致了指数在中长期会有很大的波动性。而个股操作相对风险就会小很多。

6 x. N; U# y* F% v美国股市恰恰相反，由于没有涨跌幅限制以及T+0的交易制度，所以短期波动相当大。市场的短期情绪宣泄非常充分，甚至过分。个股波动和风险都相当大。但是指数从中长期来看，波动较小。
; i, u0 u( Z6 t4 ^7 O/ t4 U. }- P5 c
所以针对以上特点，在中国捂住股票不放，做大波段的方式在美国股市不太适合。特别对于新手来说，买卖指数ETF是个不错的选择。一方面可以练练兵，熟悉市场；另一方面涨跌幅度不大（选择DXD，ddm就可以了，别选三倍的TZE)。最重要的是基本没有经营风险。

但是切记随便做空，除非自己已经有相当的分析判断能力和止损技巧。最近几个月，不断有美国的做空基金破产，而且都是十几亿规模的。所以有时候选择太多，并不是一件好事情。
