skills needed for success in the Alberta workplace. This 5-month funded
! [: D/ l" g. d- A+ mprogram combines classroom-based training with work site visits and work
2 H! r. B$ M6 A( i/ ^/ P! u: Xexperience placements in high-demand semi-skilled occupations, such as
3 V. {9 n* ~2 j. vwarehousing, customer service, hospitality, healthcare support, food
. ~  P3 D- |3 r* e6 N0 Rservices and others.

Candidate Profile:8 O; N8 `( D; x2 g

Candidates for this funded program must be landed immigrants, Canadian
, g; R% }7 z1 s6 H- W+ T/ h7 z3 ucitizens or refugees who are eligible to work in Canada and who have:% n3 E& x1 @6 v, B. G* b% Q. y
*        English communication skills in the 4 - 6 range on CLB0 {  F7 h# o/ |2 S8 M% w  m
*        Basic literacy and numeracy skills and some secondary or post-! R" i. J  j- N5 m3 y/ O
secondary education9 R$ {* T9 e$ F) W' I
*        A genuine interest in finding permanent employment in a high-demand
2 e2 D7 I/ J/ @8 E) c) q! |  Hoccupation
  O" G; A1 q5 P0 P* c*        Availability to study fulltime for 5 months and then be employed
3 f8 H* u/ o; `- T*        Willingness to commit to a program and future job
