A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

Reception

• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries& u% Z0 h9 s9 x5 {: t* R
• Arrange courier services for all departments$ J1 H# l% M3 ]
• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail1 L, @7 D2 \5 \7 L0 P
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries1 _$ V$ ?. y8 `# Y( I
• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency $ Y s' h# X+ ]
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration' n4 A3 q& |0 [) z1 t3 T8 i
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers

• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments " y: `4 F. ]; f. g' x' [
• Assemble and forward information packets as requested

• Accept and process registrations for participants or attendees at various special events and staff training

Qualifications:, h% L: t2 x2 m# H8 {! y

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures, g, Y' n# r( j. i- f7 ~$ E6 A) k
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
