4 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Staff 2 Y( Y! w B! O9 h8 u2 |3 T
(8 week contract @ 35 hours a week)

$ q+ n5 `- K8 R. RKey Responsibilities Include:
# Y8 [4 P* u! d# @Activity Planning and Daily Activity
% n: O* Y0 r9 i) a- G# r• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.* J( S9 V: n' n) }
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
+ @: q9 [* v+ Q. Q* s• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
( E" B A. j& j6 M• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.3 {- D5 U( e5 b
• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
/ U1 M- o% H# V; j' a• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.7 ~- v7 O+ g; \2 X

The successful candidate will have:
- ~6 `( d$ @ G% k• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
) k7 K, _# ]1 ~5 ~- \4 }' u) W• Experience with children3 @. ?7 n7 B! }2 |2 w
• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth ! y& P2 G# d+ r) q
• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
( F2 w' S8 z K; }/ S, R• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.

• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check
' ?# W8 K/ X8 a) }• Documentation of a clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check

In addition to an excellent work environment, The Africa Centre & Big Brothers Big Sisters offer an hourly salary of $15-hour .
