4 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Staff

Key Responsibilities Include:& Y9 v& Q7 o2 {+ A: ]1 ^8 M
Activity Planning and Daily Activity
& i% I% j, c& i3 k4 S) _• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.
+ B, W0 u. M& l ?- K! N6 p( T• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring. ; m+ \7 Q& I7 e1 C
• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
+ B9 l( M; Q# q, K, D' s• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.: L1 q% ^$ J4 s
• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
/ k2 `! O, b' B; Z' X/ G* W L• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

The successful candidate will have:
$ \7 ?) t1 l! q7 d, ?• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
W4 V. p7 v; T# H( V/ P• Experience with children+ [2 w- [! ~8 Z# A: _9 O
• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
; Z" L7 a5 I U• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.0 r, I' M x1 C& R9 W" z5 u
• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.

• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check
! Q6 C- J! {% t: P* n, K• Documentation of a clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check * I( ~$ v- b( U( s1 M) v6 Z
