. S. O# D" `6 p1 pKey Responsibilities Include
0 O7 v9 ~% E; a' U; J! T! eActivity Planning and Daily Activity3 X9 @( X% P; S
• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.
3 I( Z1 q" f, p* G% V• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
$ ^/ p5 k, j0 a6 \4 Y, A) |• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball, 5 r6 ?, N4 @2 [0 S
• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
) S+ `& w: G/ q: G! e• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
$ q! u# e. k% f0 l% c• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
6 p; A* G6 Q" f0 Y; \- y• Experience with children
1 Z2 F% ?+ w/ ^$ U# }• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
' @* H: V' c; J: N$ r• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring./ l' W, `! c+ a5 v
• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.$ O q# c) Z' s5 u* v) `
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources

In addition to an excellent work environment, The Africa Centre & Big Brothers Big Sisters offer an hourly salary of $15-hour .
