Position Overview This Corporation is a multidiscipline engineering, geomatics and planning consulting firm with offices in major centers throughout Western Canada. We are currently seeking a Transportation Engineer – Intermediate to Senior to join our Calgary team./ \ j' x2 L. N& O6 J9 X# i
Responsibilities In this position, you will:
6 V: e& b- ?6 I" P" x- h• Plan and design major road and highway projects; ! U/ p8 J$ {8 s7 s
• Ensure that you provide exceptional service to clients with roadway functional, preliminary and detailed design services as part of a team;
4 J$ G% |- m1 e" h+ _) ]3 G• Prepare roadway designs including: plans; reports; cost estimates; and specifications.
7 {% {$ y" y8 i# e$ |7 P• Prepare contract documents and review and evaluate tenders for projects;
$ K. J7 ]2 p( J: t, Y' ]• Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates. |
