Housing Program Worker

( u) f& J; \0 T* O& T8 Y/ sKey Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
& y5 y/ ^3 w5 e! W To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
( ~+ G7 w+ ?( A! H( S7 v To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
- g0 C5 |, x- e* L$ B+ n2 T To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
4 f7 ]( j/ ?/ w5 r! d& `3 Q6 [- E: O+ j To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

0 o7 N* s) ]" fQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
; p9 `  }* T& U9 p Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
3 E+ R5 C! t/ |# D7 @8 u9 r. t; ]: J+ f Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
