Housing Program Worker

' a4 _1 X7 o& Q& p) [* b2 SKey Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
! T$ E  o) }7 A2 J$ M2 f To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
* Y/ k3 d  B4 s To help promote the program in the community.
6 b; ?+ P1 O# i  D9 g, U To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
8 e7 ^, ~5 X# g2 n7 c) x; p To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
' [; c# \6 B9 b8 E4 h To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
. m1 ]2 X( ?, \2 C% d! K# N& } To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
8 t6 x( n0 i; h8 y" M 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
" W( J/ w# z) f- r, w# M Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
