The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.- ~% O j! k1 `* y$ m# w* e" S( g" @. N

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.1 m3 ~8 e: o' q7 K! g4 N

• Human Resources Management
6 |# P# K# O# p- b& f+ \$ l• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities + h6 k; a$ M. q4 x8 m
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
; q( L' M+ p1 `" {• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
* x6 n. r H" |% W0 L• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
' n# b1 ~1 p/ X8 U1 q• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

' Y0 y' l6 L4 T( F7 f- ]8 ^3 r9 jProgram Delivery
0 l- A! U' Y9 M. ~/ y$ @• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
+ A; Z3 ~3 P6 u8 x1 `• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes
, n; y+ J Y! m2 h• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
# o/ u; y5 S) L6 M• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication

• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department( I8 @# M; o: d
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

Administration
8 Z2 _. v2 F6 Q4 b• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director* O# I" L' C( V( d
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review
* G) k: p2 ?* w; G• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

$ n& J1 X2 D8 J) P% K/ D3 B* r6 xQualifications:' ^! T+ s2 S2 N9 C% E
/ }0 M. H7 l8 R9 o8 T4 c7 O• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field* o2 W& K Y3 g" c
• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
- F5 ?# ]9 Z- m( ~( q• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
2 b9 M( ]* z' V) _- y: |• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations- ]- K5 L" \7 F3 d
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population; t7 D2 ^5 R+ }. s7 w7 @5 U
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office# n4 I" Z3 ?) r& t$ b
