FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from : G8 A6 Y, W( n
emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video

screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
) [( w) [6 n6 VFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as # [/ D% ^' k7 R# G' d5 m6 S3 }. x% q
well as the script, magazine and book library. ; ~* X- U& o7 X* P4 W
# G2 e$ i! q% E& o' F" R4 SDuties: * E2 e" a2 a5 ?* i
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
! o4 q( D, i; H2 }- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
$ |' i6 _2 A1 A T8 g8 g3 x+ ]! r- Implement a catalogue template for future use
% |/ T; }$ w7 Z. R$ W2 z( v: _0 P- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure

secondary training, university preferred

- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
