summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to 5 t+ ^3 [( B: Q$ I
support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from

* B. q1 H. {3 f9 O* b& |and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a ' r5 ]; D7 L* D& s- [
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
7 S8 G( m/ J N# A, J5 v: jFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as 5 }" D5 |2 Y8 ?# q
well as the script, magazine and book library.

- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books * _1 M# F4 h" `, N: p
- Implement a catalogue template for future use ' \6 X9 E: B! E- n( H
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure 6 ~: k' C) T0 n- G7 p5 A' z6 Z! o
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week # w6 n) e+ @ i' O5 K

- Strong team player abilities
