summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from

resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the : q' f3 l$ x% a
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as ! x5 L) e% m! A/ M1 d
well as the script, magazine and book library. ! o# M% B1 r" @, N
+ w+ m: o. ]0 v+ h$ D6 d4 a/ hDuties:
, E# P8 n$ m5 c8 R7 ^7 G. D8 h- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library & ]0 N, ?# |5 Q
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
2 Y; q& W) Y4 P! `# P5 K1 z- Implement a catalogue template for future use
) p/ F0 x5 a# j& {# t- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
( e" S! `+ K8 e- ]- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable 4 `9 I2 N4 V( J7 x

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: 2 G2 s* \& e1 o- {) {# q6 J
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts 3 D6 F' w# a) k; E& i/ K; a, ~
- Strong organizational skills

- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
