FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from ' {5 R9 W8 r1 s0 r, [
emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video
* s* @' F/ B# D5 ^and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
' ~2 Z! D9 G: q/ L% m- _9 K6 L+ eresource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and
0 \+ s+ Q+ l6 V; Ascreenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern % D6 E0 s% o' _$ f. K

a$ D7 I/ A3 j/ }$ M0 v# LFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
! C& A i# ]: v8 R% m6 c2 mwell as the script, magazine and book library. * R N0 D) Z {7 v3 T- V: u

+ b; A+ M1 z, r( V3 k- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library ! f% S( b. J1 m% w
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books

- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure 9 c) I) X$ P2 t9 R- s- a7 D
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: ' G+ u: V7 m4 P# R: f+ T$ R1 {& w& n9 w
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts $ ~8 P( U$ w. x" c) f' ]
- Strong organizational skills
A8 _4 o1 L3 ?+ v! Z) Z- Experience or training in library sciences preferred 2 U* S v+ L2 R
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
