support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a " o4 \: [& g) `1 d4 `1 n' @) A
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and
8 e# b& w6 O9 P+ m; Vscreenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
8 J) k6 ~- q; t; @FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
4 i9 [# e8 D0 U/ L1 S3 y) E! _! ?" v* wwell as the script, magazine and book library.

Duties: $ x/ R( |! x& V! N
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library . F [" y4 ? `8 J6 H6 {4 X
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
% {9 W X2 k9 ?5 c! ^- Implement a catalogue template for future use
2 c1 W' X! S( \, _$ j$ U/ f- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
' |$ W, u7 F r5 n' Z. F; h7 K5 J- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable / ^& F* ^5 `, q4 {1 I

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:

- Strong organizational skills

- Strong team player abilities
