FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the

support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern ) ]2 J1 B& Z1 H# ~

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from ) Y; e' X, H8 {. D) u+ m' _! u
emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video " H' d& B, ]( m7 P9 B( o) m: H
and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a 3 H7 z5 G! @ b6 n/ W! G! F
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and
: i! b1 H5 B- L. Dscreenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the 7 z* f; y% m- c% w( D# C! a
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as 7 d+ Y6 s/ h; l
well as the script, magazine and book library.

- m$ p+ _' Q. g: x. y& @- Implement a catalogue template for future use

- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

secondary training, university preferred

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts r+ n, W! p( _( y
- Strong organizational skills
! x6 U* P+ D1 o/ h. |- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
