FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the Y y/ |1 Z5 q- M
summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
7 s1 x& i+ Q2 g, ^( d: DFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as 3 `! H' j7 o) I! M0 n& x/ S" u
well as the script, magazine and book library. 1 x6 x# ]# \( S; g! a

) ^2 q& a) v+ g- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library 8 k# R/ w+ K) M1 a( r: X
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books * O. M4 b/ `: f- O$ ~+ l. Z
- Implement a catalogue template for future use 5 @6 O* u' j _/ a* \
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure " Y0 R4 y a3 d4 Q% t) N z- a
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

secondary training, university preferred

- Strong organizational skills

- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal

- Interest in working for an arts organization that is governed by a Board of Directors
