screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

: O& U! C6 h# Q( {Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
4 T; @# C, W5 k J- nFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
8 K1 K4 v0 D! Z& A& w0 n6 \4 iwell as the script, magazine and book library.

Duties:
: m: x8 j5 p) y# }5 v' V- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
" A" l: M9 G5 R8 _- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books * w6 v6 b! @ {. p, w6 @
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
# U5 M \0 e1 u+ I- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure 6 N9 O1 ^1 v" c9 |+ b% O
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable - O4 K) j! h# ~$ |9 E9 x) h

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: ! K0 c' t, f! M1 n' Y; x
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
A8 x# E4 D% u2 Q' z6 ?9 H- Strong organizational skills
6 A. q6 H. U5 s2 K) S1 v. W- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
