support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern 3 w2 Y% A; b7 b0 p# x3 I! r
Alberta.

screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
7 H: {" z. P1 X+ C3 }( v9 [FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as 5 K& I- F6 m; H
well as the script, magazine and book library.

Duties: 5 Z& V9 T/ ~5 L, C9 B0 l
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library & f5 G" |4 S6 J6 L- c0 E0 w* `
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books ( r! ^; h( o. Z9 t* {
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
8 b3 R" i7 j" y- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure e5 n2 f. k: |8 L
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable 7 F( ?( C P6 X8 ]+ L& S0 R

- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts # a: p: w, [8 {# N
- Strong organizational skills
