emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video
; i4 N! F8 b% u! V( A% ~and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a : Q- v/ j6 d$ m) F
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and 0 X' |) d! y, B* @: F/ {& _% a
screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern 1 A7 Q- }9 O1 R9 I/ X8 j7 m

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the , Q, g4 w$ L# g0 s
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as

Duties:
2 B! L a: I/ F% ^/ P& O# m- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
3 h+ m& A! P' B2 p7 d: w- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
" c. v( Q7 [ c+ [0 V) @- Implement a catalogue template for future use 0 x$ B* W% \2 U; M
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
y% y R* o' r6 o: R- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred 3 C3 f" |! S: X) I8 _; ~

- Strong team player abilities
