FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the
9 U& O3 ?# ?( ^7 m3 Asummer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to

Alberta.

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from

resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as - n, a! s: b- O* [8 m
well as the script, magazine and book library. 9 x! B8 _' y P0 t

- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library ; ~/ P4 _: m% G! m
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books

- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure 0 \2 A4 o$ p! E1 v6 |( j
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week 2 I& { a2 d2 U* i9 Z
- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: ! D2 X9 ~8 _# ~
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts |( _$ U4 v# N# y
- Strong organizational skills
5 Z; H5 K& `% z. H/ E/ r! Z- Experience or training in library sciences preferred

- Strong team player abilities
