summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to

resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

+ J! k! F: R2 N, Y0 }6 VJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
& N" h6 T+ j" H/ U& z5 uFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
( S4 P- t' F# Q" U6 x% S5 o% jwell as the script, magazine and book library. 8 U6 p( l8 B* v7 A* ^( C5 c

Duties:
1 `. |# ~! v$ i9 r; S5 B: y% [- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library ( s1 k. H6 z5 s! ]9 R, ^
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books - | X7 z$ ^3 S( s# l( `
- Implement a catalogue template for future use 7 s, C: a9 z" u1 l N8 J) H. R$ q
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure ( f! f8 H K# c9 J s
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable 1 c. u+ {7 Y0 v% w; t% h

- Funding for this position is provided by the Summer Temporary Employment Program

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week / B( N3 W& r- C- o8 I

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred 0 n% b: U% e7 h- ?1 r# B0 b% Z& B
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
