support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from . D' i- x0 t O. d6 U

screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

! A2 u; i( P' C8 _% gFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
$ D4 {) Z( I' ^; s2 e3 N: N; {well as the script, magazine and book library. ! _1 U9 v3 H4 r- g& G8 P) ?

$ V$ C: U5 u8 a, l7 Z, D; q6 t- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library 3 \4 K$ i r2 O. w( G! [$ [( \8 z; l
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books 2 J$ N i2 R2 B0 _0 d8 ]
- Implement a catalogue template for future use ! V/ k M+ K; l. D1 L
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure 9 N/ g- o: Y5 ~
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

secondary training, university preferred

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:
# O' m0 H, d' {4 ~0 l) `- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
% `3 M h& M$ m/ ^. k3 w2 _- Strong organizational skills
/ u4 r$ v3 Y2 l8 N$ p: D8 T- Experience or training in library sciences preferred 6 v: w+ i0 {( K8 J* C/ j
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal # c7 U( z; s3 o9 {, ^
- Strong team player abilities
