summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to ) n8 @! [ g: [' Q( n% ~
support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from
' U$ z6 ?( q. j$ W/ memerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video
. D8 W5 G; y( [3 |0 s$ Vand media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a + s: S% f4 z0 d4 q- @7 {1 F
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as / @" ^, A# s: C5 x. a( V( }
well as the script, magazine and book library.

- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure

secondary training, university preferred

- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: & @- P7 G/ g7 _& ?- r; H
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
7 w s- }" P4 Z1 `- Strong organizational skills
. _* m' u: [5 d$ z( g- Experience or training in library sciences preferred : {: Y( f# ?; {3 T$ J& g
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal 5 o% \1 r: S) t3 c I- r; _
- Strong team player abilities
