summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a . a9 g" k- A' t: K1 p: ^
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
5 ]# B7 \( t H7 k, JFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
4 E0 y9 c0 ?$ m4 m% `8 hwell as the script, magazine and book library.

- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library . H8 ^6 i- B3 |6 f! J
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
s4 u. \% b; |2 H9 M# r- Implement a catalogue template for future use % m/ S6 C3 D0 F7 [1 A* C7 y. I$ D" B
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure / F. w5 W* f5 h( g/ p$ W
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

secondary training, university preferred

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
