and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a ) s4 x1 `' |3 y/ Z+ ]$ u; T
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and / p% J- ]" f4 S$ X( X- c* V E, V
screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as

# g- q. t7 \, E o! B4 E$ k" H- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
* r7 W; F3 p- p+ V* o- Implement a catalogue template for future use # {* k7 B3 F6 A3 C) z: C
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure 3 S. M6 d+ \# h
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable ' S+ s! b3 s- y' B! d& S$ y. j' w

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: $ H; J7 v1 b8 t2 S2 r) r
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
4 D+ G A) P. x S; M0 {- Strong organizational skills
( R4 v, T7 s0 z$ R- Experience or training in library sciences preferred & v; l( r% F! F( n7 O4 Z0 f
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal 7 w9 [# K" @8 x& Z* d8 o
- Strong team player abilities
