and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a

screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

* }. p2 C+ d# y4 G. q$ C! F& z; qJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
/ M) E+ X1 a7 x( H/ DFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as

Duties:
7 s) O/ H/ t1 Q1 ]- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
8 h2 ]% p! G x, f+ N4 x- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books 9 M; @" k ]% F( e6 n6 g
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
4 M' V* c5 s& X9 S! t/ m! ?- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure ; k$ r$ k# |, v6 a4 S4 i0 Y
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: ( M I: f6 [! K0 D( S2 r* G
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
7 z2 P6 \: ?1 |% i) Y) @- Strong organizational skills
2 a) c, ~8 h7 t) n) P7 o6 |) {- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
