' D% i2 n4 S5 XJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the I3 `2 L8 _3 V* `
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as

- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
5 k3 G4 h- C' M$ H0 o- Implement a catalogue template for future use
6 V0 S6 n. ]! q# ~- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
- \6 E& k! ?7 ?" z! X# g& ~' a% W- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-+ r- ]$ z) g" h l
secondary training, university preferred

- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: ) ]) \7 O; z1 O3 }# V9 B
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts . T( c9 O4 G: S% O' p
- Strong organizational skills $ O% Y/ m2 L" c1 a0 \. _
- Experience or training in library sciences preferred % S# |" k. K2 I/ b
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal / Q& G6 |. k% s
- Strong team player abilities T2 w2 I2 ~* o
- Interest in working for an arts organization that is governed by a Board of Directors
