support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

^- s( m) p8 |and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the 7 p3 D' F2 {7 p
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as * N1 \: h7 z6 c8 ~& g" y+ D
well as the script, magazine and book library. / f" g0 v1 l: ?3 w P) h7 a

1 ^: {2 H V1 y8 {4 _- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
3 _5 @3 r% k, A9 \0 b( Y- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
$ e% l+ a. `: N, G1 c- n4 v- l' d; g- Implement a catalogue template for future use
( N4 j" r, L, o) K) G# g- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure 4 f+ O8 ^% n/ j
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable 3 B" S+ o4 y7 N$ C; u6 e' U+ p0 [

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week , {: i6 V5 q- F5 k4 J- h4 b
- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred : L8 ^) H5 d- n7 n" H1 g
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal ; v# S7 c# N: T8 K+ w

- Interest in working for an arts organization that is governed by a Board of Directors 5 t7 a; m% ?: w
