FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from # E+ ~7 E- T$ H- M. \2 p
emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video
0 A; w) e: m1 n$ Yand media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
8 m5 G& `/ R- v" ?) w eresource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and + K+ _, n# m3 G/ g2 J
screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

" b9 j$ R [% E( g% JJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
; J' k: B8 l: x2 Q) @FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as ( L: A" f+ B% J2 N6 A, N
well as the script, magazine and book library. g% v. R4 D, ^1 ?5 r1 _

- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
/ |4 R& ~- ~/ c: o- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books 3 b. P, A" I& W L: @
- Implement a catalogue template for future use

- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week ( Y6 |8 N& l$ R" j N

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
4 o5 t, T, `9 c7 X- Strong organizational skills
9 i9 U9 p+ J6 l- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
