FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the

4 C1 C2 g# w+ N% u) {# sJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the 8 z7 S) z; Y; K8 b4 f$ b
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as 3 k* X1 [- A; m9 F* {4 A( E, y
well as the script, magazine and book library. 6 k |- i9 P9 g3 p( S5 i2 S

- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library - S& R, v/ d4 O; x P
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
- u5 W8 N- v" t) U- Implement a catalogue template for future use
, X# x x5 ]- b1 R% k. r7 w- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure 8 V: M$ x- O7 \* l7 ~% W4 W
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
' H7 S; g4 o$ s3 e9 G$ E4 @- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
