and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a 6 y" M ^8 ^& S( J: z# H

3 @4 |2 Q3 J4 q% C$ ?' RJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
* l. {( g3 A8 L* p% @FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
" e, ~! e# R! Z4 W) z! [- r; swell as the script, magazine and book library.

Duties:
# {8 G0 R$ q0 S* g- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library & H" q+ e6 |$ E: T( l
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books 3 y4 r4 v6 m h% x2 s
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
* I) n6 x4 @* P/ N- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure ' z: y. x1 u5 X+ n9 j3 g
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: - Q! G7 E, H4 Y9 C
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
+ K- f/ R3 U: O- Strong organizational skills / \ v/ U2 _5 O
- Experience or training in library sciences preferred , |- ^- O/ T6 L \
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
