support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from
9 [ y! j X& m+ s; u# A! Iemerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video * F3 T- Y0 i- q3 F8 z6 Y: B1 z
and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
5 V' i' j6 h. x ^resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and
8 Q0 L7 X1 e# Y8 l# uscreenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the / a# @5 W- {5 p! h. N
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as 8 l5 Z: s3 S! a$ T( I! |8 x' A
well as the script, magazine and book library. 6 C# u- K4 R; I

- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
8 M `, m% Q& Z( U3 j R) h- X- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books

- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: 3 H1 j, ^, p2 W6 s* @9 o G
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
; c& G0 d: O! k- Strong organizational skills
: l* {" V& I9 k+ d- Experience or training in library sciences preferred % m0 ` G& U8 m" A
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
