FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a 4 C. \! u" Y# i- \$ d* A, ^% W8 r
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and ; b4 J2 F) M; J: m! W
screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern 6 B* y5 D. H8 W; l; @ Y

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the 6 h2 I! V: Q* R5 n* W/ f+ X
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as / ]6 k' s% n3 V+ T% p
well as the script, magazine and book library.

Duties:
: g4 N6 }% }) H. {8 }% [ U- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library - i% @2 \( w2 I+ N& B7 E0 R7 }
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
* F! g1 e4 u% P- Implement a catalogue template for future use
, n) g5 p |3 R& U/ l% G# V+ L9 ^- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure $ u! }* H/ T# [& b
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts # n& W' }3 ]/ V: w7 H0 w, Y9 ^
- Strong organizational skills
