support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern 7 \2 s2 B9 p X1 t+ c6 Q

( |6 H6 d$ i `7 v: z4 h" B( JFAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from
' L) q" I1 r) W# Semerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video . T- G, Z1 n' j3 \, |+ g
and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
- \- W% S& J2 b oresource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and
( G/ ]4 C' m! `screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern + k5 H0 w' _6 f

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the ( Q) }! r+ r x7 p+ v8 A ]; h5 T
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as * i9 D7 _ P5 L% \1 n& O& Q2 u
well as the script, magazine and book library.

3 G+ H& f: o' ~& X0 t+ F" o- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
$ ^' ?6 H- T" C6 Z6 Q, j$ f) C- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
9 j) f" C& M1 [- Implement a catalogue template for future use
, m& F6 o4 o9 T# F; @- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts & D' S6 ?; `. B
- Strong organizational skills
