FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the ) q! C+ v: Z4 @+ Y, w/ U/ E
summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from ; R2 M0 G% w A" M6 g
emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video
% u0 x! c3 G4 }6 `5 tand media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a 9 s6 F9 R# K; Y0 x0 p
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and ) J( L- k, K! O
screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

- m* H+ k! W# `' i1 N. Z* |Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
- Z* T2 W: G" \FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as

- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library 3 l. b5 B% `8 H4 Q! g
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books ( `1 c2 O1 I9 h o* ^! r
- Implement a catalogue template for future use

- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable . P3 ~/ N/ t- G( |" C9 T

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts

- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
