support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

/ h r/ k: i" D( XFAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from
2 D+ [, ^ Z, `" j$ [5 Cemerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video - O5 {6 S* w9 J. d4 b
and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
) g$ B0 D p# q$ e5 ?' I/ xresource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and
6 l8 k9 }% F2 g. p2 Qscreenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern " b; x1 s- g' x! y+ g8 M" R

( w# T, f0 x4 U+ {9 S3 CJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
9 e( v4 C5 f7 e/ pFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as , w7 [5 z6 H3 P4 [& m
well as the script, magazine and book library. # l. V8 i& w! }; ]% u* C9 a( L

Duties:
5 C5 L" u! t" H* r9 ]2 o7 \7 t/ H- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
4 _! T1 L7 b/ ?, c" b- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books . \ L& [8 o% S4 J; K. O3 `1 b
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
' v# Z; y9 V. c9 b7 Q# j3 M- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
( u$ }8 E- ~! o& F9 V- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred

- Strong team player abilities
