summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to : F# g) i, u) m5 |3 I4 {/ O! h
support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern 3 F2 L0 } w! b+ [" _
Alberta.

$ h2 A" f6 a6 G- O4 lFAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from
/ e `6 \$ w$ p: i. i. Lemerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video 0 b+ H' n% ]$ C& N+ C J7 N6 z
and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
D6 _5 ]7 {# K" T0 e9 @5 nresource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and
1 z: {4 B7 b! Y$ }2 f* P; \1 M' Zscreenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
# p' Y! m4 X5 b( B. D6 ^# LFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
# e' Z* k, {8 d w4 |& Fwell as the script, magazine and book library.

- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
1 g* k( @2 o& D) D, q! u& |- Implement a catalogue template for future use
: ^& V( m. O% j9 @: T- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
' Z5 g8 z# ]1 g- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable ) ~ z! {& j8 l: q

- Strong team player abilities
