summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a

# }- ]4 ^; ?% E7 M& k9 KJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the # Y1 U2 v3 d" ~0 _0 W
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as

Duties:
+ A/ K$ A2 o; E7 r' B' ^- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
3 f3 J6 `* U' Z3 [! O9 H6 g- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books + }6 T' i) L6 Z! O! t5 X) S7 d
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
; R4 t+ l8 k: M- O+ P- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure 6 X+ z6 B, ^9 x p/ d7 d
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

secondary training, university preferred

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts

- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
