FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the

support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern 3 ?- u6 v/ O5 n) e

# r: _. b$ e3 }: n$ g$ h/ [emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video
8 ?: f7 e1 L9 S, G$ H; F! fand media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
) ~/ H* c* C7 G8 }9 hFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
+ O) a$ F: W8 m$ {' F+ U ~well as the script, magazine and book library. 6 u! G( s# G9 f, b4 ~+ w
; v8 s( @, x+ C$ v. C% H6 ODuties: - a, p% P: K( i
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
% t) d! \0 U2 j# H, b" f& v- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
$ u+ `) K i- q+ V5 m' ~- Implement a catalogue template for future use
; g$ u% u6 m, H& n- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
# L. G8 E. T% d! ^6 I F$ g" |( q- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week 5 Y1 g" {, ?3 \9 [
- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks
