FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the / a! q- K$ O$ B+ @4 ]
summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to ! p! T' R3 Z$ n. z' j0 F% g7 D$ Q
support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern 4 O1 j% f3 H. k7 g2 r! s& n* }
Alberta.

) }) `! e: z2 y- z% l) M1 ?FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as * S; K) A% b' W2 A
well as the script, magazine and book library. 6 `$ U1 O3 N) l! q; D9 J: j

6 \9 [! [. i' C4 [6 _& G1 x3 R- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library 3 \( C) q: S4 g5 s- b0 i8 _, Y* W
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books 4 N/ s5 a7 _" o b0 H9 `7 P# G8 E
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
# G( p% F( u$ }. G! D) Z6 E" x- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure 5 R9 |1 w! _5 \! w% K+ ^
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable 7 N: h! X0 k& O9 h9 [3 q2 \: n- B

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

- Strong organizational skills

- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal ! I4 Z5 Q) B# _9 H- O8 K& v
- Strong team player abilities
