screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

) r5 N( w% Z6 T2 AJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the , A1 S9 ?3 j+ a! A
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
^8 C% E: L* F* @1 l2 C! ~) vwell as the script, magazine and book library. 8 K$ p5 `7 r5 q
" x- F! f4 i" F! o
Duties:
( x' m: Q5 s( T: O2 q- V1 m# ?- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library ) `9 [( ]2 J# R
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books , y& y; U# t. P5 V6 S+ J
- Implement a catalogue template for future use # F6 Y; `& X* T
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure . q3 u7 N# w1 r' ~$ O! s' q1 Q
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
