support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern 1 r+ `: a8 ^. o+ X7 p+ M

! R4 ]1 z' H4 C4 A+ QJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the 5 A9 l; D" N. d3 k1 C0 ?. ]# J- g; ]
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
' w3 k) N1 Z. p( E, ?, L ]well as the script, magazine and book library. ' L" m$ R: C7 Q. }

Duties:
1 W0 S3 B# P' P% o- B- P/ y- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library ( h4 {" B% M1 D: U) _$ U
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books 0 R* N6 { B6 m' a4 `# O! v
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
{' R X8 c/ B' z) Z- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure , c! ?& ^' G/ g* i
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts

- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal 1 R! {. Q9 ?% x; s$ @

- Interest in working for an arts organization that is governed by a Board of Directors
