support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

2 ^6 M7 D8 w: o8 w PFAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from
M, ]; \" {, Temerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video
3 d$ t8 h: W) Z2 Z, N8 T3 i/ \5 z8 X- wand media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a 8 Y9 O; n9 t7 m, ^
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

! H j1 i. n S. a9 y& fJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the * O. V; l( N/ \
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as + w# C0 d; F2 ~# u0 G3 F% ?9 K1 z; U
well as the script, magazine and book library. b( E( `6 w8 O0 d

- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library . o6 ?) G2 X d) n1 T5 h
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books 5 K6 E4 ~' y) U% O" R+ ?
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
6 ^) G- R U+ @" S1 m0 s- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
! y' d6 j6 t. M& M% Y- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable $ f3 B6 K: @/ Q9 B; @* o* D

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred 1 ?0 _& L" t! Y+ N. M! e0 W. C5 A
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
