FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the 4 _$ u( L2 q% E7 S# `
summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to

resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the ( |! R( z7 w+ q: T E
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
, P6 r/ \0 p) M) q8 B: u# N% swell as the script, magazine and book library. ! R& t0 v5 v$ k
$ L" c$ A, _; d z ?' [/ q) rDuties: 0 ], s% C$ Y5 A& ?2 |9 T7 b
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
- A% M& W2 F8 ` `; j- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books 3 U# G) i* ]; r, w
- Implement a catalogue template for future use " f J) s" k( U3 z7 @
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure $ r, P7 h) m: F4 H
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks

- Strong organizational skills
