emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video 2 U# h7 g$ Q* N
and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a 5 t: ?' |8 I/ K0 B3 p, u1 v
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and ( O; n! e x2 h& [) S
screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
7 g5 D- ]' R2 X+ h# ?FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
# b2 A& h( `# ?( M$ k5 Hwell as the script, magazine and book library.

! U$ I i& O6 O' N7 q- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
- E& u, F/ d3 r: _( u( I8 C- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books & M( E% |0 d/ H& J4 G$ O9 X2 M
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
- e! [( p" ~, G1 w6 q: x( {- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure 7 x" n5 w, F- b+ S6 v7 I ]
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
