FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the

support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the . s3 W: ]3 | S; l
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as : M" D# R* Q9 S: V6 B" T) W% A
well as the script, magazine and book library.

Duties: 5 _8 ~# G8 w6 W# C6 R3 N' v. {
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library . k. g9 F/ n: p: ?# n
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books a6 O9 V/ X/ i/ j. U
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
3 V! P; d3 Z- A) b& ~7 z/ M% F- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
G/ |* I1 x7 m, e- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable / J: e2 f2 \% G( j

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: S7 x* ^$ e# t, H7 p" y- }; Z
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts ) b' G6 I6 q* i! d3 P4 J* j1 l
- Strong organizational skills / ^. G! ` X. f) B, A
- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
