and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
1 U2 L2 m2 d$ c3 w9 ?- e# [- }. aresource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

$ ^2 l* y9 g8 c% B) XJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
2 j, \ V% U# B1 P/ @FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
1 w1 l3 v" `6 K# Vwell as the script, magazine and book library.

Duties: ( |% O. T: D" A4 k! j1 h; S
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library * P; K' ]" }; k" s( w5 s1 J
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
# R- Y, U4 L. ^+ ]- Implement a catalogue template for future use ) y! a" |6 u6 I7 ]% _, p- I
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
1 W- o; e. X; N- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-! g& {6 Z7 s" i

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week / n r' _. D# k6 u
- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks 0 U5 E0 p7 S3 c$ T" x

- Strong organizational skills

- Interest in working for an arts organization that is governed by a Board of Directors
