support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern 8 w$ }7 Y5 v) J- G' e% l h. A

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a # I: z) k1 l# `0 e( o

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the - `5 u% Q% d$ {
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as ! ]6 a( {. `0 f: s, |
well as the script, magazine and book library.

# c+ w9 k7 G8 w- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
& D7 a6 t' l* ^$ y; X- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
1 \% Y) J0 |; P" L0 I4 N- Implement a catalogue template for future use & J2 U" l& n; R. k6 _! a& N9 t
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure * q/ R9 G k! q" U8 e3 O
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable 4 D% X4 n+ {2 H" W

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred / R2 z; w/ U+ h' H3 B2 B3 X
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
