FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a & z( K: n$ R: W" F7 \+ \- z5 q9 Q7 ^* D
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and 6 J+ ]- d; Q1 b& }

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the 6 c- c# ]( x+ J b( @7 z3 M; J
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as

Duties:
0 h% n: j$ G# u* a& b y+ n( p- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library ' ^! ^: |% N1 z6 ~; b+ }* L) m
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
0 N& j* Y% }8 N1 h- Implement a catalogue template for future use
! H1 w+ v$ ?) i, L' R- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure - z) r! K( n6 ^, ^. |
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:

- Strong organizational skills 1 {9 \. ]% I( a) l' n' ?+ N9 T* O) ^
- Experience or training in library sciences preferred

- Strong team player abilities
