FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the % H' [8 i. Z- O, F
summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to
% l, g0 s) p, {0 K/ Rsupport the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern ( Z7 P0 t: ?2 \$ n
Alberta.

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from

resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and * J; N$ k( d6 L" j9 l2 A8 C

FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as ( `. C. D4 c5 ]/ e4 j
well as the script, magazine and book library. 9 i5 z) O) v3 y$ R1 \8 [6 J; o+ O. Y; C

Duties:
$ a' t ~( H6 V& s$ H& Q1 E2 X- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library & U" G. Z7 A( g4 I% v4 O
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books 0 z! A0 O2 n, A# T5 c
- Implement a catalogue template for future use c1 U. \ V) y
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
0 t6 |8 J v2 `0 ]( q8 F! ~4 }- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable T, t; V# |8 k# X! @! n4 Q g5 j

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:

- Strong organizational skills
