support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video

resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
, Z d5 A1 D7 t4 t" EFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
6 u$ p4 n; S5 L1 w3 r& F( w( z( S* ywell as the script, magazine and book library.

' m( y9 D1 P! Q! ^& ^8 k% S, ?- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library / X y6 F) \1 d! S3 A' E
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books . v6 c) n' B4 o8 W
- Implement a catalogue template for future use 2 L( V/ {# _# }* B- K
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure 6 Q/ w3 u4 T: a7 H6 z
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
