resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and 1 e% e0 f) d3 y9 w0 o
screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
1 u) b! A: o5 x8 \FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as 1 p; B0 G1 J! N5 [+ v# L7 ^' k
well as the script, magazine and book library.

Duties: N) ?4 ^. ]. V6 O
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
2 L$ h$ @1 s$ }- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books 9 I( P( t3 }; x; B/ O$ V
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
) o( \( O, Y4 R- F2 ]" d- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
1 G: \8 r5 P6 b% G% R* K- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

secondary training, university preferred & Q4 U/ e$ S$ P4 e* Z
- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week
) |9 v6 v/ w, e2 u" P- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred 6 K. e, }1 I) n# I4 _8 a
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
