support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

. e' A8 Y5 p6 K: j! N' P% [FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from
9 y: O( t& R. Q6 Q& Zemerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video " e1 \0 Y1 p$ N! s, F4 m7 }* K, W
and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
1 O0 g% L6 Y* H) c& presource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and ( {% f' r8 ^& _7 i
screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern ( k; r) @( \% O* L* b

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the - ]& k, I6 d% }% ?' P$ E5 r
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as

( W$ V" u) C- m2 L4 A9 E! A- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
) U0 r" b) ^' h1 m- d7 z- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
% V [) O+ S( ]/ g& u- Implement a catalogue template for future use - f; F t) M$ ]0 |9 M
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
; ], U' H( X2 U% M+ s5 T9 N0 }- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable / l# N' {: {& E G3 m, x

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

- Strong organizational skills $ \* |9 I7 J& I& n; `1 G1 n
- Experience or training in library sciences preferred

- Strong team player abilities
