support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video
& ]' e' F* b/ A* o, uand media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a 9 e/ Q1 p! |5 Y/ }' Q
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and ; b/ Q# W: _. Q7 D! R, t
screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern % s/ R7 p9 p: Q4 v' I, ~

' U: B/ j U8 ?# n) Z6 cFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as ) ]) g( n Y* H- j: ~9 h
well as the script, magazine and book library.

Duties:
+ _% u" q" e. w, L; |- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library 4 f2 f$ W; ]% a$ |4 O
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books 9 k& F% R0 ~) P) X G2 k
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
2 p* Y h) O) s9 }8 h3 }: `- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-& }( {, e k& Y' j
secondary training, university preferred

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred

- Strong team player abilities
