FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from

screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
, I; Y, N5 l/ e. I% e0 [3 ?FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
: `& g& e6 u# zwell as the script, magazine and book library. 5 Z9 `& O6 \, q- {% T* y
/ l+ r, t: g" [* G7 C- R: c- eDuties: 7 F9 o1 O+ @) W: P2 Q
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
6 V# M: M* E N" t+ p- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
- y# r- }& K! q0 H* E! T6 `6 E- Implement a catalogue template for future use 5 ^$ \! Z% j6 G8 k# Y6 L2 \; N2 A
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
. a- u+ i, R" C, b$ K+ |6 Z- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

secondary training, university preferred % e k' ?- f3 g& q
- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred

- Interest in working for an arts organization that is governed by a Board of Directors & i {# v/ L8 u* H9 d) h9 m
