support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from 0 s; d3 V. ^2 r: j

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a

screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern 9 W1 P! ?; z: _5 ^* }

X7 W; x V3 e# }6 tJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
" g2 v! J7 M/ x$ Q( lFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as & `7 s9 t3 J$ Y8 {5 n
well as the script, magazine and book library. 3 \) ?) F: E6 \. ?# T

- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
6 x8 \8 Q2 c H, l- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books : k9 }# {$ ]# N- L4 m; {
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
/ c! a! K. L1 X! E$ v5 R- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure 4 m; o! T1 Z! G; w2 b
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable / X' v. ^8 |# i" }, h' o

secondary training, university preferred

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts

7 i1 C) t$ e1 g) a5 [2 L- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
