FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the 8 e% @! N3 i: `1 Y, u

support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern + s* d) z% d! {; l8 r

emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video

resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as ' E* g' M, h( `' L' W+ ]8 _
well as the script, magazine and book library.

- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library 8 i! h6 L! R% ]" Z L$ |& M
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books + K+ }! P. Q1 c4 H1 S% |' L0 l% x
- Implement a catalogue template for future use , j* N" x+ Q# S6 U- O5 Z
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
7 P0 S4 g. }3 w7 K/ ^) g" ^- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: $ ^: P3 L" B4 G. l9 W# j
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
