Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the 6 @5 `) A# W r& S. O; k
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as : ~% i7 k8 Z9 O' d( p, |
well as the script, magazine and book library. 5 \$ K0 I8 x4 D4 ^

0 [( S4 u! p1 V# i- ` e- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library 5 K* l' z+ n7 x' n& a7 u
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books 7 C* A& i* w/ Z) f# Z7 ]
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
' `) E# C6 ]1 L! l! q2 Z5 D7 t- C, x- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
. @/ c ?% |. a7 r3 P3 ^- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

secondary training, university preferred

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
- ]1 j8 a5 t( z3 A/ O- Strong organizational skills
9 n1 k1 ]; W+ n' a- Experience or training in library sciences preferred % w. C7 ~7 ~( v- z! g, |( ?8 }
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal

- Interest in working for an arts organization that is governed by a Board of Directors 0 w! J. H& {- ~( U
