FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the

emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video

resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the 3 T5 ?$ ~$ P# h
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as 3 g, L3 B- Y: A/ l! J: D1 w
well as the script, magazine and book library. ! e4 h9 K0 Z) A" F: @' v
2 P& ]% a7 Q; \+ u5 K6 PDuties: 2 m: b; p& Z; ~
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
2 b# `+ o$ O- L8 Q- o- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books 6 q9 @3 H* y$ K. U7 w2 x
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
. ?7 V/ y' q; q1 O- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure 3 q5 V( u' g/ V* a% t
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week 0 i! x8 L$ ~' C
- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks / L) U. A# ?2 b5 s, V, p- J

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
/ n( i2 D; E* h g5 V- Strong organizational skills

- Strong team player abilities
