summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to
* d+ G, B! ?6 hsupport the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern 0 i% B' ~+ j. `0 L2 P' p8 Q
Alberta.

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from - r( ~1 `7 v. c# c: z0 P
emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video
) ], g+ \* n o+ oand media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
5 R: i; P8 D4 _ B# zresource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and 0 y5 I( u6 f* G6 u
screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the , M# ~( L5 v. q& @5 Z c
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as # i2 w% X; n5 F) Y9 h
well as the script, magazine and book library.

Duties:
8 K+ o4 g6 T. E3 d; G9 N- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
% A$ x" l) u% d! ~- T, Y1 c- `- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
' Z/ y/ U1 @ V' A- Implement a catalogue template for future use ' A4 |$ U; ~1 }, q! U
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure W& p; ?$ Y* j- P
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable # s$ q6 O& d$ k) }" r& ?9 _
