Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
5 Z$ Z1 @4 {# }4 Y. Z% H& qFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as

7 r# A* h1 b9 z+ S5 g7 i- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
) C( L; q) v2 H1 b# r1 U# h- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books : E( V- H* h& |- m) z% V
- Implement a catalogue template for future use . ]0 E' P; z P% C
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
" I; j) ?% f* r' g2 B" W- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

secondary training, university preferred

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: 7 W2 I, O9 V$ C7 l, V# o
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
/ \/ F+ q9 j! N Z& z0 d& V- Strong organizational skills
/ \! J8 I8 a# f, p+ A; a- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
! f0 c0 C' W- O2 H0 A; X- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
' E8 }3 L6 Z# ^' K- Strong team player abilities 7 e/ ^' Y- u6 e: Z/ J& y% J
- Interest in working for an arts organization that is governed by a Board of Directors ) ^' B' f/ K2 R0 \$ _
