FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from

screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
6 x' r5 s+ v; Q3 O0 i9 U% M8 OFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
, ]0 F# `" `) W6 n# c- p. ~& ?well as the script, magazine and book library. ( v. M7 d/ T/ Q$ }. T2 m
) n* Z2 e8 o( ^% q( d
Duties: ( ^- J9 ]% Z. k% C
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library # |* e6 ~/ L/ n& `* q2 ]
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books 6 g2 c- A7 O+ D" f) A
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
* _, `- f: c& N) O2 X5 l- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure , b% v9 W' H4 K' {7 W9 h
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable - a% n: T2 f& z* o, |

- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks " j1 }( \3 h1 V3 h D

- Strong organizational skills
3 {* l1 S, S) S, W. s- Experience or training in library sciences preferred

- Strong team player abilities
