summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to

' i5 B1 ]+ p, l8 K, xemerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video
+ m, F+ y: S. g& B: I$ wand media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a 2 G$ x; N& [' p' i& j
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

# R! v7 U; Z. {/ |Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
* i( V x$ v/ p5 i( IFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
' u e4 r! j# H# Swell as the script, magazine and book library.

Duties:
: O, u8 {6 H6 t" o+ ~6 A- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library ; Y0 l; g* w1 ]. ~6 c
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books 2 v& k1 m) ~+ `: d1 n7 J4 `& p# p
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
W1 o- O2 e. Y3 b' q+ Y9 K- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure 7 y" O& Y5 z ~0 n3 m3 b0 P8 R" b+ k
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable ) T. y, v5 u. B7 r! d+ U

- Strong organizational skills
L& c; f2 F7 E- Experience or training in library sciences preferred

- Strong team player abilities
