FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the 7 N4 n3 D( S' W7 S- S3 ^
summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a 0 o5 J& i2 K" I9 l- l$ F$ b# q' q$ n
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
, J' N' t; N$ J% RFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as - \( ]" o) `- i M' X% Z4 A* v" X V8 V
well as the script, magazine and book library.

- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library

- Implement a catalogue template for future use 8 W @8 h% E% w" ?1 D
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts ( @: I+ l/ B# J& R1 A1 t
- Strong organizational skills
