support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern , \' l& M9 V- q# S [2 S
Alberta.

4 r, Q' p* n, P$ y. t3 k* u7 NFAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from * R$ f4 o( |1 E- L
emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video 0 u7 W; O2 ?( h7 J. p7 H& @# s
and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
3 U4 r/ {2 s. Xresource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and
9 i% o' i( c# d, I3 Q. Jscreenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern 5 m# b) q- L3 ?8 e) w

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
+ z; V: I* C( i zFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
& B) c# e) ~+ G1 V9 G1 n" R) pwell as the script, magazine and book library.

- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library ) p7 }( C) f1 @/ ?9 I0 D) t6 V) G
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
9 F% Q$ k, Z4 ]9 k d Z1 Z$ d- Implement a catalogue template for future use
1 s+ R! X" I+ m* W: Q+ r0 h- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure , t& p( f, ^$ v$ I7 f' i$ u$ Q& E* t
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week
