: u4 }% O6 T( aFAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from
1 D; U3 C0 c$ {: x. Nemerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video 9 B6 ?$ \% L2 e* _
and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a 7 P1 J0 h* Q# x9 [
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and
0 D) ?8 x9 Z+ V4 v& rscreenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern + E& I5 ^5 r* x' c
Alberta.

% ?6 m# y/ [& U" _% f- G' ?Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the 4 H& m, I9 t" U, w: c
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as + r# w5 D+ `2 v! _: {* S# s4 d3 h) {
well as the script, magazine and book library.

Duties:
3 O* Y# S3 y+ R, T1 y- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
4 q9 |6 ]: ]8 C- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
! q, W7 d, [0 H' ~- Implement a catalogue template for future use ! r1 J- y7 t3 }. x: h
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure $ ?3 q( [2 t$ Q/ d
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
