+ E! M( q2 G+ Z( ?and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a ( x* t p; i* Q. j4 ~( d
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and
w( g/ E8 u' w" oscreenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the ! u& d, u$ n5 W2 h$ Y
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as ; W# \# J4 H% _. w' c
well as the script, magazine and book library. - Q6 I; ]9 X2 u/ e

Duties: - @* | ]1 K* m+ v
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
' z+ F0 Z' A }( q' i/ r- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
$ R6 t1 [8 X/ k, \" i- Implement a catalogue template for future use
0 T3 j1 i1 x( v- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
/ \1 B7 s4 q9 T- N8 H4 x- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable ; N+ c8 J; f+ R

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:
6 R7 \! A! @- @# L- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts - o4 `6 l$ {& a
- Strong organizational skills - O* h& M |) W/ E8 n( M
- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
' E& i3 j) }6 A$ N* ?- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
4 G4 H& y f8 q, T- Strong team player abilities
