FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the

5 _* U7 S3 ~3 {- m6 tand media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a

screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern 0 G/ L6 Q1 {* `: b% P

FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as ( c+ s& H: {1 {
well as the script, magazine and book library.

) g1 f4 i4 E3 `7 w- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
/ ?7 U2 o* b( S/ e( b& E/ f( J- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books ; x/ q2 v: q4 c4 b
- Implement a catalogue template for future use 8 t5 o; C1 }* J, |3 ^% E
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
+ x: S2 a: P8 |; N- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:

- Strong organizational skills + g$ ^8 k9 M9 V' R" c6 b
- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
) G8 q& ~) k$ m2 a! ]( p% `- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal 5 A# q6 @# n5 q* S$ b9 x( \. z
- Strong team player abilities
