FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the

support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a ! B# ]( r/ h" G% [
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

) k) f* F& F& |& u' r* E5 S! nFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as

Duties:
2 }: P \8 O# r. O$ _8 i7 a) o$ C- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
( ]/ r6 l* X J- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books 2 s# L' l6 Q) X R9 ?4 f
- Implement a catalogue template for future use 3 F; Q i7 W/ M6 `2 W8 I- ]- W
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure / e7 L2 A L0 s6 F1 B8 H
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:

- Strong organizational skills * J8 j* L/ Y$ O3 [6 ]. B+ G: O) Y
- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
