FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the

emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video
9 Y; w& n% ?, ~8 j0 f' Mand media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a

8 X* U5 h& j- t$ O0 K/ {Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the

well as the script, magazine and book library.

! `- e4 b, y7 i( ^- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library 8 |8 ?/ ]( |' h1 V# X; T- c3 Q! a& o
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
7 Z6 L2 \6 Q. h0 f: R8 Q0 c) @- Implement a catalogue template for future use - ?( e5 V% z+ i0 w L* K. B1 {# N
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
/ a& T ~1 F: M- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable / l; v- T0 w4 B) g

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-2 s3 u7 j |; w
secondary training, university preferred

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts # k$ ^+ x! V* A \ a
- Strong organizational skills ; F1 k2 p! P2 y1 C9 N, g) }
- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
