FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from 1 U& U( `: ^3 P7 a$ e

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a 6 I5 H. Y$ C) h1 h+ A- Y
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and : Y) p. B+ i1 G' S% @0 Y( O
screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

) x0 U0 ^6 Q* UJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
$ V0 J% d9 X' w& c" ?FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as % O: s7 v# a% O# i. K6 _
well as the script, magazine and book library. 1 s# p' j0 p7 |5 }: |

- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library ; G! d9 t$ h0 j5 v# p) p
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
C1 p$ h9 w+ z! D/ L9 K5 q- Implement a catalogue template for future use
4 i/ z+ s6 d0 t; J: c" b- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure 8 k# f; ~3 \4 b. e
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable : e- h# s) n, V& I: w' u1 D

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
