FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the
; b3 w4 n. j3 r' _/ H* isummer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from ! ^2 m' `+ ]* i9 G" u- M* _' s
emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video
- P# M) _1 @1 k. t% Hand media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
8 W" A, E9 i5 Hresource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

! w' R, |) \; C( n+ E0 LJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
1 G, k: x' H, U$ |6 E% Y; ~+ VFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as ) {+ l: S+ b& _- E% E: g6 T3 n
well as the script, magazine and book library. ( t: ]3 b1 [$ ~4 l0 l/ h" y" d

. n0 J# u. D* l& T6 J3 a- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library 9 Q r1 P9 Z, k% [1 O
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books $ S0 x+ O* D' Y8 h- u' A& t P
- Implement a catalogue template for future use ( ~2 V4 x: H1 O. V. \
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure

- Strong organizational skills
