FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the

emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video
" c* Q' L, X$ Z6 Y$ t' Z& gand media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a * g& B8 ]- _) g
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
8 X. N( S( K8 nFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as 1 J a3 e" ?5 V% S8 g2 s/ W
well as the script, magazine and book library. ' l2 t3 f; p7 V3 O9 s( L# u7 f

- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library , o& Y7 U8 }% B' ?0 E& Y1 K" Y
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
$ _! O- L" `# a* T- y- Implement a catalogue template for future use 4 ^3 o, u' y; }. C- ^
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure ) S% l6 c& P2 t/ G0 d
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable
