support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern / q" I( c0 w2 \- l/ u0 I

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from
, s' s( T. C: m) vemerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video

resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and " F3 Z( c( B9 w: P! N! N" m
screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
' U) E- ?) ?2 i' q# m+ \* ~5 EFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as

/ d1 t' S& B$ {7 U4 J% w- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library + o' J( N- P6 q+ W" |! v4 m& `
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
& I) e$ N2 z$ @0 X5 b- x- Implement a catalogue template for future use
* _, h4 s. O* O! {. q( P" H3 ?- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-4 n: P: A/ g& W3 q! ~
secondary training, university preferred
) @8 j7 g4 d4 {9 o- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

- Strong organizational skills & f! T5 ^( r' H+ I1 X
- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
