summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to

emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video
' N& S2 i' F# c) f. mand media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a 2 k0 }: V y. T% e/ z {
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

9 z& }8 D; E V- W4 AJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the 4 Y/ e8 s; E" v4 }! L& ^
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as 5 h5 l- i5 `/ b% l
well as the script, magazine and book library.

1 `/ n3 c [3 b; T+ ~- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
) u6 w# S: x3 R; {1 B5 W- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
O& o' D Y* @' G/ x- Implement a catalogue template for future use 2 N+ Q+ X. t$ z& w/ f+ n: c# J
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
i/ D( X0 g: W$ W- X! q+ E- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred ( S! l) _4 p0 x! N* a ?
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal ) i" \' z7 G) c5 t Z
- Strong team player abilities
