Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
3 @. U# [9 |+ f5 C7 ?% [FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
1 m s7 D# v5 E9 {4 w+ y7 gwell as the script, magazine and book library.

Duties: 3 S" W9 U; T! ]- g- `# k! h0 J
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
4 Y. F4 D9 R5 c& F0 u9 j @- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
/ B+ b8 J+ N2 M: y) X- Implement a catalogue template for future use 6 U- w$ Q0 B' A. e0 g- i, ^
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure , o7 z7 J' c7 v: j) ?1 U! Q
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: 0 g9 ~& o' p* t$ A
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
2 F# D# u( `% I1 J- Strong organizational skills
- y( E" [' i* O" j) M* R- Experience or training in library sciences preferred % d Z8 q* T: W4 `1 u( `
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
