summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from 6 F5 ^* T) {" p% K g4 G6 B$ R
emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video # G8 W2 [5 l' n8 u% e8 M% n
and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
1 U9 U- ?; s, q2 h5 wresource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and 2 \; L- @9 c% w' K) P) X5 q
screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern / U2 p4 k$ s* N! e7 n7 d8 V

- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books

- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure ! [$ D/ r' c. t# x
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable 9 U* }- r1 c2 y2 ^

- Funding for this position is provided by the Summer Temporary Employment Program 4 o0 r: [+ e9 v+ P3 `6 w

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks

- Strong organizational skills : I7 ? s" i2 x
- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
