1 {6 m. y, l1 {# IFAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from

. u) d+ j9 I$ ~; h6 \and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a

screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern ! y1 S, T& ]1 b3 X2 S$ i

Duties:
U) |$ m; s z- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
* P& [1 z0 E; o' r4 ~! z- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
) b h# B# S+ x- Implement a catalogue template for future use 2 g. _8 A# Y3 I* H/ M
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure " O- ~( c: h2 o, _ Z% K
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable - J4 \" m- f% g

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-
1 k' }$ X0 X) @( qsecondary training, university preferred ; f2 b5 M/ d3 K9 j
- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week : Q& @: X" n }! F# y* y

- Strong organizational skills , c( G( e# r. _9 X" w
- Experience or training in library sciences preferred u) f9 I Z. }
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
