FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the

support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

+ \' ~8 f! Z. m6 w' ]and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a

8 s6 Q5 g2 S U& U" [" @Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
0 H- T' M$ T1 e9 `0 @FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as - }0 r; Z1 c; @+ D7 s- i
well as the script, magazine and book library. ' a) I. M3 Q* p- }

Duties: & w0 g6 J# e% \' u. s% p2 k
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
. l+ }5 y5 N5 ]; a! k- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books + O' n; s2 n; d9 C! R
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
9 ?, h8 `2 G$ y3 H L- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure 5 D7 X2 H( h# `% ~+ ]
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable A8 J9 E$ m' P9 H* Q+ y

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred . ~3 B6 w* z; ^9 R, P6 F$ g f; h
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal " R; R4 q) o6 A7 _. Q* ?7 M
- Strong team player abilities
