2 i- v$ g$ x5 K# }9 Q9 t* YFAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a * P i( g1 c5 H# E
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and # ]0 m4 y! }# `% t \
screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern # H; S2 w% {' F# q* V H! g, [

FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as a0 }2 ~- D5 s% M' j4 C5 ?
well as the script, magazine and book library. " \1 ?) R. `- V; Q6 F

Duties:
' _- p' W5 `9 {: H- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library ; J* B- L& Q& x9 U! n
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
B- e& B8 t- d- Implement a catalogue template for future use ( E6 n$ g& ? O4 e* U8 Y
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
% E+ b7 K' S1 Z7 G( D* Z& s- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: . ^5 \# W2 {7 }2 \' G$ J+ _2 S
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts

' n* e" O& v" Y* X& ?, m- Experience or training in library sciences preferred . o3 t! o" \2 L) s
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal & z+ q% c- q" K7 W
- Strong team player abilities
