summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to

emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video
7 T* a$ Q( x% q! M; T: j2 b& Jand media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a 0 b! ~# ^' _' z/ T0 P: x8 P
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

. g! k& f. K& r* ZJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
& Z! V% T1 ^1 ?$ }FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as

- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library * M$ l( Q5 G* l& x3 G+ {
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
+ [; Y1 n" _* T/ V* E4 W$ F- Implement a catalogue template for future use
5 l! \; M f+ |/ ?- t- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
8 n6 d" C" ]0 f U) O$ |" S- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

secondary training, university preferred

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
