support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern 0 }+ o" T/ H: N9 P Q" H. f. a

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from 7 Q& w2 ?; a/ i
emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video
F6 y. V* C3 D# L! o5 N- \. |0 eand media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a

screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the $ D8 V4 d: \2 g& [2 G& `* z. N; \
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as 6 q' h) E4 G& Y. A- b
well as the script, magazine and book library. 5 }1 q( n8 g& W0 [

Duties:
& S" J6 P/ a9 b2 | j4 v5 b$ P" {( I- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library s' f) e9 w/ b* V- b+ l
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books 8 `% p9 B8 a& s" _# Z. h
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
$ H5 ]$ m H Y) I6 G& M' ? S. F- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
3 l w9 ?& W- P0 D l- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week N6 p* K+ w0 H& i8 D8 z' y
- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks
