emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video

resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

2 Y# ^, I3 n5 A/ Y/ l% C: ^Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the : S( c) c# D$ U) J
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
! r% S6 w6 O- G% d2 _2 ^9 Wwell as the script, magazine and book library. " `( @6 i. i, h& k. @- I

Duties:
, d! E* R8 ?3 H& _1 N- o7 B% d- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
: r2 t$ Y+ D/ M- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
) u2 l! [ O% U" |4 `5 b, p- Implement a catalogue template for future use
; I$ W6 b$ @1 [, `% B) O- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
, P3 f ~7 ]9 C- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks ! f- Y, g8 ?6 c

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred , J3 |( S. X, O# B- x( ^' J
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal

- Interest in working for an arts organization that is governed by a Board of Directors
