support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern + ^, y5 G7 }3 p9 _: ` C; T, @
Alberta.

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a

screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern ) V+ j1 R4 q* m% y, h* K

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
( G6 e0 b$ c9 W2 fFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as ( W! q5 Q0 k# @) ]
well as the script, magazine and book library.

8 W8 B2 T6 V! Z- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library % W+ `" v; b7 w% i+ ~; F- w% }1 D
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books " D, H Z/ X, _% T5 N, a' s
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
" r% ?# ]$ `! ^+ n- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
- S$ l1 I1 s- M+ ]4 m# h' u- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable k+ z# ]6 t5 q9 w$ ^/ ^4 Y( Y& W

- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks

- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
