support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern 9 _5 O$ U- X [; c) ?

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
9 F4 E A4 {2 U4 a4 Aresource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

) t& | Q2 b7 V' qJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the ) W- V( I9 [( l3 M
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
7 x5 ?. T8 k9 J/ awell as the script, magazine and book library. + U8 R* [, I5 B: g
% f# O* P" b8 s( r. k* LDuties:
0 ?3 ~" N- O: G" Z- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
: R* r- ?& e( t v3 }! J. p- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books / E$ r' @( f. C# ~6 A
- Implement a catalogue template for future use : P& r9 x% f6 `
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred 4 z& Z$ M* h" h( u' X: C- i6 J5 I/ `
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal ( v; P: \5 A& k
- Strong team player abilities
