/ j! N+ [# z6 G5 V8 Hsummer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a

screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern / A/ u, [' m' x7 F) f

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
0 K! c4 w8 Q; l! DFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as ! q; z) }9 {) N3 `
well as the script, magazine and book library.

Duties: 8 v: T: A; B5 R/ ~: [' {3 ?( L! A: h
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
6 I: J8 k4 L _# W3 o" x! i5 e! ?- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
7 c- _8 H' f% D2 [6 \- Implement a catalogue template for future use ; C* H# B1 ^8 ]/ ]5 O: d+ d9 V. M
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure . i. ^* K, i5 S
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable # ~( M- b6 s/ o) Q! n

secondary training, university preferred

- Strong organizational skills ; `% j' }0 `( ~# Y4 Q: j9 u0 e$ D
- Experience or training in library sciences preferred : n. b/ b* g9 E
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
