support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern * H1 K( M4 {8 Z" m1 o

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from 5 r k4 n9 s, ]1 |- y# c* c) I" s
emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video
0 H5 }( A+ a; j+ [and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a $ c7 v# _, Y9 v- ?
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

; ~2 q. y( c' v0 E9 s. pJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
L/ f0 r* O9 u3 rFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
, l4 W9 G2 s6 v6 Z* l- Swell as the script, magazine and book library.

- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library % X2 O8 |% ?- a- p7 I2 C! U n" s
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books - e; x( U9 J3 w4 t% w4 f& y _$ F$ v
- Implement a catalogue template for future use 0 H* u; V e+ e, i* C/ ~7 a
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure * X+ Q5 }% L# o9 x
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable " @9 k' x, T5 W, v, g

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
