and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a 9 k1 | P: x% Y
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the % ^# j7 m$ n/ E
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
( _' M# H0 ~5 X$ Q# g2 O& G( [well as the script, magazine and book library.

Duties:
) e; x/ O5 x8 ]0 E! P! U; \4 A, K6 q- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library $ N/ k( m' r6 O. Y
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
, k! { m0 h8 P& C9 l0 ]& ^- Implement a catalogue template for future use & V) l/ F: P$ i& b6 ^
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure - s; s/ X- g P/ k. [
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable # \7 E% A. N# G! w
* k) b& @8 Q( n1 V. F5 h

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: 5 P. x) R* N2 O1 D% v
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
( E; C! A# d. X. J/ w2 D. n- Strong organizational skills # H$ [ p# N0 F+ t) N
- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
