resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and + `: E# N! u6 e& \
screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

% J; i# s* L( E9 G/ c9 h. zJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the 3 s( {% r! j: b5 \5 e5 T
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as

Duties:
0 c- L% m, N# }. f* i! w {- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
9 l$ M5 `3 @' a' y- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books E" y( y" P$ T% p+ j: X+ A" K
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
# ]4 F% z6 k" @7 D- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
; Y' C: B7 p6 W7 s- D- t, K2 c- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable ) r3 ^# k! c; R x" L

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts L- f3 |: D( B b8 N0 O0 i
- Strong organizational skills
9 a# L9 `/ i* v/ @- t7 q- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
