summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to

Alberta.

5 O" w1 Z5 `/ R- t9 JFAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from
& R9 _* V' x; H, zemerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video ! G# q' J/ V; X% o3 W- T" `
and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
% o) p) s4 M5 V% F: @resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and ; m- a) C# p# O [4 I
screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

- N: z& t ?$ h. ]% p: }- @% i# g* lJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
8 Z) h; L. s0 ~1 M8 i, f6 k wFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as

- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library 5 N. o; F$ V9 X, Y+ Q8 f2 }" F
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
; v' k$ [/ |) R) m0 F- Implement a catalogue template for future use

- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-( D" Q4 h) C+ u3 A

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred ( e) w& T( _; I4 i$ {4 V+ u
