Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
! M( m7 z- r9 C5 \0 @9 gFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as 4 S* X2 I$ U1 M& \7 o2 H/ @: p- G
well as the script, magazine and book library. 4 W2 g* N% u: I1 z. L

Duties: % W+ q8 p( H4 ]0 R1 }, N8 W
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
8 _- D6 T4 O7 g% a* ?- s- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
: v' U- |7 s7 y1 x6 X9 @- Implement a catalogue template for future use
: w" ~: j3 P) B- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
$ _; ~9 u" s. L5 U% d. G- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable 0 c2 ~) W; [3 \& B/ a

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: % E7 Y9 I b# N; C3 t5 y
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
$ z R# D- B" m& `6 x& s/ p d- Strong organizational skills + i, e2 d- N' K4 A/ S
- Experience or training in library sciences preferred - d1 \8 N5 f* M
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
