resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the - r7 ^) w/ B3 s
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
[) m: A% K0 E" }' h3 S0 n& twell as the script, magazine and book library.

Duties: 7 b2 ?( L5 J# H% P$ T o1 _
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library 1 I$ Q8 o2 b6 X3 V4 e; T1 H, h
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
9 b3 M4 Q3 E8 S* ?" y# @- Implement a catalogue template for future use + w4 y% T. {; ?4 P: X0 z4 I Z
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure & q1 ]# {& q& M2 P' u3 Z
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable ( q8 I) {% I! V/ V

- Funding for this position is provided by the Summer Temporary Employment Program

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: ! N( a8 O6 h2 ^% p5 |9 d
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
; C' M0 `3 r$ E: v0 {# K- L2 T$ Y( |- Strong organizational skills

- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal

- Interest in working for an arts organization that is governed by a Board of Directors ! o2 L4 Q# j3 g6 n
