FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the / H3 c+ D+ H* T6 Y
summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to
# i t7 g5 j" T2 c8 ~support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a # s# p* J$ o' a' q" U& d8 W" `5 j
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
; y5 _" u: _% w6 `% CFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
$ P% t6 u" i b5 T" i5 J* Zwell as the script, magazine and book library. % y6 S' ]. f7 p, }

- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library ! A, Q" }% n' g$ Y
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books 0 c& z+ U8 V9 j3 Y2 c8 R; Q( r% |+ J
- Implement a catalogue template for future use 1 z# @& S. e* b- ]
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
