emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video
# r/ c1 a6 ]: {: g- tand media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a

screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

C; P' j5 w) ^# P5 MJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the M+ `" Z4 ?9 t
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
4 L" [, C X4 B. T2 f9 Z6 ywell as the script, magazine and book library. ! i R2 l' e0 U
* i" t- m5 s7 b. f. u6 n9 ?Duties:
$ j( Y% s7 d8 U6 [: }3 O, c- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library ( {9 Q5 A1 X7 w
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books ! u9 w y" h% M/ T) l( c
- Implement a catalogue template for future use $ u7 q0 {: T E6 {+ f
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure % [; [9 _, ~7 s* L* F
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week 4 \+ J2 G" |! }( d4 k" h

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: a$ V1 r# V! v" n# a0 X
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts 3 p/ X' m9 B4 P
- Strong organizational skills 0 a2 U: y3 W# r3 |+ P- q. F
- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
- Z6 L4 P' f: n; Y8 a- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal $ `! N% q- Y3 L( S/ l0 P3 }6 ]
- Strong team player abilities 5 B7 Z9 Y7 m; |# C3 w: _
- Interest in working for an arts organization that is governed by a Board of Directors
