support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from

# t+ F. S# z& B9 p6 MJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
|7 v7 X7 s) Z% n1 GFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as 7 v2 h2 u; B4 |9 O5 E/ ]
well as the script, magazine and book library. 5 [ s# L) `/ W( V) y

Duties:
* X- M$ T# Z. A- E& Y3 W- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
5 d0 ~3 n' Y* L8 t# `' Q# O- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books 2 H! {2 r, R. m* N: H4 B( e
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
( {+ l7 ^5 ?: n/ y9 ~1 P5 t4 u M" g- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure 5 O5 U0 J: F! b4 ^" M" r
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable + o4 A6 a& b( G6 L) ~

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-+ E; d: k, B& x% O% N6 C

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

$ G0 e0 ?- z+ T$ X6 EQualifications: The ideal candidate will have: 4 ~$ T' ]) X9 j' [; n( U
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
+ \$ J- q K$ y- Strong organizational skills 8 d/ o+ \$ P( ^& s8 ]
- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
