9 y( r8 L( S+ I3 Q8 L( W( EFAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a ; r- d. f, |8 F
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and
; J' ?/ V5 x3 Q- Dscreenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern ) P# m( N! z" w$ q" S0 w

' o- F6 R" T) M# M% uJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
- w( L3 S, Y7 s( xFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as

* }$ } Y; o" T' G- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library 0 x2 d" s, w6 w4 s/ P# E, h
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
& F6 ~! ^: n# J6 U2 h$ W, i- Implement a catalogue template for future use
1 L2 o9 T, E0 d/ f! v- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
) c/ K& I, p! U: t0 j. J) C- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable # K8 S% l! w3 r9 h! d

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks

- Interest in working for an arts organization that is governed by a Board of Directors
