Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the 1 @7 }* R$ {9 }
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as & p5 h# x- j$ G7 S; g0 A* o
well as the script, magazine and book library. , n4 G! I8 I7 w( }: G z
+ y& n e. p( A" x
Duties: 0 d* w4 Y$ ^# ^* U2 c! [8 E9 c
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
! P$ E! w; D& u) `( M: P% q- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
. s' \8 v, P& b0 }3 v- Implement a catalogue template for future use
; k% |; L' ^, x- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure % S% U$ X5 h6 ?4 `3 b7 k
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:

5 ?% ]6 H% g/ _2 z1 q) M- Experience or training in library sciences preferred ( O8 f- m a! ]4 D8 x
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal Y ?: _8 Y# B1 u8 t
- Strong team player abilities + k2 \- Q- z" w8 w ^% k
- Interest in working for an arts organization that is governed by a Board of Directors
