support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern ) F4 ]/ m ?5 O

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
; {, R. |' k" a1 ^resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

. Q! h) N# Y6 T5 hJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the . x' N9 o9 B, o* a
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as 2 e8 l" L, V' H; A
well as the script, magazine and book library. 4 ?5 L/ n: g% d6 l& _7 C* Z

- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
5 y( t p( [7 T/ J6 b* ~' f- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
7 w& N5 ^/ w! S8 x$ ^, G2 k- Implement a catalogue template for future use
) X$ m/ g1 Z/ Z+ i2 y- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure $ E6 g, x/ Q( j# H# V7 S
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable 8 K2 g! V) G# {

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-( b" ?/ d7 h; |9 M7 B3 f _( g

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
