and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a

screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern , M" w ~5 r) C
Alberta.

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
$ a, B( U S0 e) E2 x# `FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as * C$ V8 t% L/ P x6 N' s& P( H; B0 ~
well as the script, magazine and book library.

Duties:
% B' o8 ]7 x: G' {- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
# q7 l) d+ n6 m/ e- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
; `: u$ P; ~# A! I. ~5 ~1 q- Implement a catalogue template for future use 2 v3 \7 p6 f. u7 L- C5 t
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
, k3 [7 V' v3 ~7 @9 i. \' z- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable + R3 Y. ?; M) x4 A# ^- E

- Funding for this position is provided by the Summer Temporary Employment Program

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
