FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the

support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
3 m$ \- t n1 |' w% N8 U+ r& V3 M! H) iFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as D: [# u1 y3 `; T- E- u$ c
well as the script, magazine and book library. 6 y# H0 \, E) b

- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library * J4 n w C( t- ~* _4 j8 n: `
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books + i( F4 V$ B9 T8 F5 f1 ?$ v
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
" `7 J0 j+ D) V. [! x6 e% ]- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure [: U: R5 V2 }# ?+ V, j: A
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

secondary training, university preferred

- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:

- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal

- Interest in working for an arts organization that is governed by a Board of Directors
