FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the

support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a 6 i! P ^7 j8 E. f- M+ Y8 \
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and ' x. l& Z! O7 T. Y
screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

6 v. G# s, {! f# |3 ~9 n( ~0 NJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the # v" p8 w- V& l8 t: Q% T/ ~
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
) K- ]/ C, S, M/ _4 Mwell as the script, magazine and book library.

Duties:
& ?2 | \8 R* I# s+ C! F' x6 ]- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library 9 S" w, i3 J" {" t
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
: Z" W/ X' T1 Y5 E: G9 @1 F9 q1 a" a- Implement a catalogue template for future use + A, ^- z" C {( h$ r7 K% P
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure , o: n9 W( o h/ {) b( v
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks

- Strong organizational skills
