% o# _ `0 T3 E) a* N2 q& ~6 fsupport the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from : w3 e/ q7 F/ y4 d, r' m1 A
emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video
% _5 Y ?7 r C2 K* x |and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
: V( {/ q& L# n+ A" Jresource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and
) `9 Z/ f- ? X( J/ D0 |7 B% Wscreenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

2 ~& _: ~/ a# C1 FJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
/ U7 p2 @0 A& x# \1 n% C4 _/ R# ^FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as

" C! J+ [0 J& n- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library 6 h7 R3 w4 U' S9 ^2 L* B7 Y1 W
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
% X8 m) {. {+ w7 ^; r- Implement a catalogue template for future use / F! ~( m8 e( i9 j1 r
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure 4 N( l) s! K) z6 j) w
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable - Q2 {/ ?, I5 E! Z9 Y

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

v/ p7 t1 G5 C- Strong organizational skills

- Interest in working for an arts organization that is governed by a Board of Directors
