support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from

1 }, `- Z+ Y- W3 g' N0 c* Yand media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a # Q/ v2 k4 t) V6 t. k
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the 6 w: o3 r! k9 S @( T0 {6 @4 R
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
6 x- n- P1 Q$ c9 ~2 R* Nwell as the script, magazine and book library. " H2 l6 p# ~' r

Duties:
+ J% D. Z/ k A: W# y3 q3 G& r- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
4 N9 z/ G3 c# o- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books 8 x; z& t* _9 [* [: A+ ]
- Implement a catalogue template for future use % ]$ |! P. ~0 Z& b7 a
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure $ M/ s! b" K% u6 U6 {2 O
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable : v. q5 J+ Y1 [7 {+ ^; d0 R

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-- p# `! ~* q% W) \( G

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week 1 v- u8 _2 x8 ^) F* s! w
- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks , A. |7 s/ t- u

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
