summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to
! @0 f! w9 J4 s- }8 gsupport the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern
: U& y( }4 B; u; iAlberta.

emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video
4 e! @/ v- \" O( Jand media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a ; X) f5 E- s1 y; C4 Y
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and + M( `! w5 | F3 ^& R$ W% E
screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

' w7 P# O5 c+ yJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
' r4 w' i e$ ]+ @6 ^! RFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
& o3 o( v1 d! n+ L2 s p1 ~well as the script, magazine and book library. 6 j3 A5 y: Y4 s! T# {

- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
- C# r) A3 y# G6 c2 Q- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books / Z2 B8 v1 t2 L1 {2 S# H
- Implement a catalogue template for future use

- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
