FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the * W$ @) r; ]2 b# Y; T
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
, Y3 D# T2 ?1 k' Dwell as the script, magazine and book library. ) v) Z. G# b' P

Duties: " O7 L+ b3 f! W
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library ; }. R: J3 P1 M; z4 O
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
7 m3 k/ j- \& c7 |3 \' k- Implement a catalogue template for future use % ^- I1 y% r z# E
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
4 ^2 {! M1 C& P, t4 K- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-6 f% ?. Y6 u0 \
secondary training, university preferred
/ K. D/ V5 z+ y9 ], ^* C( W- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week
) e# [1 D; Y% k m3 x- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks # o2 u. D6 h3 L0 t

( C7 x* c( ^( {! O" y2 C" l- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
$ f- P1 y0 Y4 o$ P9 o8 }( ]0 @: E9 u- Strong organizational skills : ^# a0 p- n9 r3 w5 a1 U+ R' T5 E
- Experience or training in library sciences preferred

- Strong team player abilities
