FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the
+ F/ e/ F! p% d4 T& Usummer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to
2 e. m% ?; B) ~4 x1 s+ C$ @support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern % k$ G- f3 q- H2 z7 d
Alberta.

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a + A6 Z9 i* s. ?2 S
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the + g1 x, y- v$ {# |$ Q9 W; [
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as / E( Q0 P6 G' M
well as the script, magazine and book library.

- Implement a catalogue template for future use % Z! T/ m- E6 s6 y
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure 2 O+ J. t; t) _' j" X) z
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable / E R# g# o2 h

- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks
