support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern / I% ~9 a" K' k: D
Alberta.

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
/ t$ Y. S% x6 Q7 S2 D& Z6 ?resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and
' `6 M, U: ~. |7 R9 y+ escreenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

7 p0 Q4 K' U0 J# E; y* P$ GJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the g# h& `" O' @# v7 u; I
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as : S9 v5 w% a J( D9 H1 N' g% \
well as the script, magazine and book library.

- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
5 z/ \! _8 v3 ~$ R: B1 h- Implement a catalogue template for future use
) V% r' c2 P/ \& V- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
, _5 Y2 r8 e1 L8 u6 `- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable - T, j$ @! S- B0 x. g& q

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts

- Interest in working for an arts organization that is governed by a Board of Directors
