FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from 6 \: k3 m4 o, O- h1 W2 i( _

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a

$ f0 S# _( Q' e$ ?Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
( u7 @+ F8 v2 q5 z4 a# N7 h! VFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
! x, v$ G$ X owell as the script, magazine and book library.

+ o# ?, L$ {0 }- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library * A+ b* S* x5 i8 q; J
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books - p5 J" w4 T' Z, c4 G& V( N
- Implement a catalogue template for future use 9 m2 s* o3 p( W9 {, A! C8 h
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure

- Funding for this position is provided by the Summer Temporary Employment Program

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-1 c1 b7 |0 r. S2 n
secondary training, university preferred : |/ N* `9 n, v
- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
