FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the

- X! v# D' i8 s6 EFAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
! {" `9 T+ c3 w4 T0 i: Mresource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and 1 J7 T% h y! \! L# o
screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern * m, Y4 I8 `7 ]7 l0 n
Alberta.

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
. Q5 }8 `5 e6 Z7 iFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as . X! W' ?; t y, E& m4 v1 \
well as the script, magazine and book library.

- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library |% X. W, ~$ r- @3 r
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books ' {" u# s$ O/ p
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
# y$ M% E1 T. ]4 b2 l6 k" q4 { `7 T1 I- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure ' h1 k/ a/ }* s7 q, \# k
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable
