FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from # X6 }: m8 M' r: ~, d J

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
% Y* F3 e, @% l& m& R; oresource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and
# u4 h4 {5 B0 m* T l, u6 Zscreenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
5 i7 @5 o' ^( m8 ]# XFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
3 p; {7 Z; \- V" K5 kwell as the script, magazine and book library.

Duties:
9 Z# ?0 r5 D! v& V* _5 N2 Z( ^- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library 0 w t: C1 w( C9 z, C7 P' y
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
7 D: ^9 `1 U) ^' B1 [- Implement a catalogue template for future use
$ P- B/ I/ ~+ a T M+ c- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
[# x6 n. G; [; ?5 n* `- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-8 m) E* T C$ i

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

- Interest in working for an arts organization that is governed by a Board of Directors
