FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
) `8 Y5 ^; c9 J) w, I# Z- eresource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and
+ N/ u/ m# B; P) n1 U# Mscreenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern ) L. r% P- S- ^- Y/ Y

7 A+ U; e4 ], J9 _6 XJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the ; [2 C5 M3 M" y
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as ) J8 Z7 ?" I) t! A2 D3 d
well as the script, magazine and book library. 3 p8 b& b, p- d' w, q+ ~0 b% ^- X; I

Duties:
: }" U7 L. |7 y& h( H$ L6 o- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
, r, q& h* I( I! Z( u- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
2 N: |' r2 w+ J% b) ^- Implement a catalogue template for future use
, b' a: R/ W/ K* X5 b- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks

- Strong organizational skills
: R/ ]* S# d& I9 Y5 u) D- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
