summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from

resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

+ D+ ?' K" v# i- ^( }FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as 0 h0 V3 Q+ z4 `! M& P1 o
well as the script, magazine and book library. : Z3 j K$ w" ^- O

Duties:
* w2 I; ~" P1 ^! S- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library @6 o3 Q# t) F) p/ q, r' Q/ ?
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books ' i9 Y0 K4 G6 Z+ e8 t9 M, s
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
- C7 z2 f4 t/ t. W; h/ }4 g- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
& P0 z) l3 F5 M2 A: b2 o: y- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable * _5 j4 _- z$ X8 i2 y3 E( O

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts ' S6 O9 y) p/ v; `
- Strong organizational skills * t7 C& ]0 R' t: q$ q( I
- Experience or training in library sciences preferred 4 r& }7 {# A3 v% n0 W! m, q
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal & K6 l3 G, u6 [1 F
- Strong team player abilities 9 [5 Z$ Z5 d! {
