and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
|# i" I) S, e/ R/ Z, kresource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

Job Description: The Film, Video & Media Arts Assistant will report to the Executive
' n3 o1 n. u; R$ w1 TDirector and work with the Production Coordinator and Maintenance Coordinator by
, H8 S9 G2 V) i1 r3 V& W" [assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Production Department.

: n7 v1 I& l5 P( o9 g+ \5 V, g7 g. C- Assist with research on acquisition grants
3 c( j5 m" N4 Q2 ?4 _1 Z# w- Assist with production and post-production gear and facilities
# l3 j5 v' \& F+ C. C! n" {- Assist with equipment maintenance ) |& _# ]8 f9 T4 c
- Assist with production logistics for programming events
* f3 A3 l3 T/ u+ J) w# v! F- Assist with communication with members and interoffice staff 7 w4 T* ]2 e, ] q2 \* L0 F
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

- Advance skills in technical aspects of film and video equipment
