FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from

resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

Job Description: The Film, Video & Media Arts Assistant will report to the Executive , C W9 A' G( U+ M# Q1 o; K9 O3 F
Director and work with the Production Coordinator and Maintenance Coordinator by
9 d% K9 v5 y2 k( F% I9 I7 Cassisting in the day-to-day operations of the Production Department. 9 _8 k/ h6 Z& e4 A( l5 o( R7 H! Q9 y

Duties: 3 ~0 @& i8 y/ {; t8 |
- Assist with research on acquisition grants
5 s. m5 Q# G; E; E; G( o9 p- Assist with production and post-production gear and facilities 6 f( N* L6 Y9 T
- Assist with equipment maintenance
% f# x) p6 ~; O3 m- Assist with production logistics for programming events
& t7 v( O$ K& W5 }. g3 U6 |- Assist with communication with members and interoffice staff ( [; x( l# F( {8 Y o4 a6 K: C
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable # E$ _; G2 J' \5 Q u$ y P M$ q
- Provide vacation relief

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:

) O- f0 d- M5 R" ~/ H- Advance skills in technical aspects of film and video equipment ! ^* {& E- f) m( p8 ^" w2 \
- Advance organizational and research skills
* G1 l/ n/ _) @- Advance skills of current trends in technology i.e. HD
