" F4 [% X3 s( \8 \; hJob Description: The Film, Video & Media Arts Assistant will report to the Executive ; t- N/ @$ O* V4 D0 m' {# t
Director and work with the Production Coordinator and Maintenance Coordinator by
* u6 ?3 H/ o& ~6 ~& S7 \assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Production Department.

! i% e5 x2 B, ?: ^- Assist with research on acquisition grants
5 i* o, X5 m0 r& _+ p- Assist with production and post-production gear and facilities 5 w1 D7 n" N3 x0 W* G' ]& K0 L: W
- Assist with equipment maintenance / I; L. m; F$ l! K- s7 ]
- Assist with production logistics for programming events 6 }( P6 p2 @. U6 F) Q2 Q: C/ [
- Assist with communication with members and interoffice staff
; @# L8 d3 x! n- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable ( E1 J- S- ^+ ]' I# g1 p* H# Q
- Provide vacation relief

- Length of position: 12 consecutive weeks

- Advance skills in technical aspects of film and video equipment 7 h) j6 c) [5 [# m) @' }# u
- Advance organizational and research skills

- Interest in working for an arts organization that is governed by a Board of Directors
