whose mandate is to support the production and exhibition of film, video and media ) H' z$ g9 |' ?% f3 `
artists from Northern Alberta.

screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern $ g4 ~+ R5 a S" n

4 y/ W u- j& h$ H) B2 _Job Description: The Film, Video & Media Arts Assistant will report to the Executive % {0 J+ N& a: i( }. y/ P! @. F7 b- S
Director and work with the Production Coordinator and Maintenance Coordinator by
/ B/ E" N; @1 \0 Nassisting in the day-to-day operations of the Production Department. , a9 l [ i# D, @2 Z

Duties: ' |% h9 u9 ^" ]8 b# ?0 Q2 i$ o
- Assist with research on acquisition grants
" I5 d8 B5 |& L' W8 T) F- Assist with production and post-production gear and facilities
$ v9 [! ^$ C9 V% B6 f- Assist with equipment maintenance
, d; s" j% p- N5 p! w. C, @# {- Assist with production logistics for programming events
$ w6 R c8 I q3 ?, c6 Z" J- Assist with communication with members and interoffice staff

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: 7 q/ D, x6 d' [9 b2 x% N
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts 4 P0 l; J' e! k5 U
- Advance skills in technical aspects of film and video equipment
9 M0 M8 R1 u# ^, S9 S' @: R- Advance organizational and research skills

- Strong team player abilities
