FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from ; b8 | V! g. L8 Y& e5 k# w. a0 I+ j
emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video ( y! N! y4 u, m
and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
+ R: d3 z# @2 D! Y3 J' u" hresource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

Job Description: The Film, Video & Media Arts Assistant will report to the Executive 1 {3 G* N( ~0 n1 p% P$ Q& C: f" e
Director and work with the Production Coordinator and Maintenance Coordinator by 8 m6 c, p( o9 h; y+ Z) ?3 j
assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Production Department.

3 c/ R3 [' a7 A# CDuties:
1 [: ^& E8 c9 `- Assist with research on acquisition grants
8 X5 m& Z' \5 w5 F( Z* l+ C- Assist with production and post-production gear and facilities
4 Z5 }" t6 f4 A8 O3 l- Assist with equipment maintenance 7 Z" m8 B7 V( x
- Assist with production logistics for programming events
7 i4 Q3 M# Z( D& S1 Q. p- Assist with communication with members and interoffice staff
* [1 ]2 H! P+ j- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable 7 F: F2 @5 d g4 R! l

- Advance skills of current trends in technology i.e. HD 4 j8 B1 K- a, k
- Strong team player abilities
