FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from

! E+ M4 t, E. T/ Dand media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a

Job Description: The Film, Video & Media Arts Assistant will report to the Executive ' }1 V% q2 U( A0 e" x- U
Director and work with the Production Coordinator and Maintenance Coordinator by
& u, W/ f, ]& U1 l( J+ D% ^assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Production Department. 8 x& ~* Z f2 o/ k/ ?$ D& M
5 a. M ~# ^+ M4 P5 v4 y$ ADuties:
9 R7 V' o' j a- M3 Q2 d- Assist with research on acquisition grants 1 U' u9 N( Y! k+ v+ o6 \: t7 e& a
- Assist with production and post-production gear and facilities
# t* L$ I: J0 v# e) [7 u- Assist with equipment maintenance / b" [3 Q# ` Z
- Assist with production logistics for programming events
* ]; ~6 k: V" h3 O" D- Assist with communication with members and interoffice staff # v3 i2 A; O$ p9 f" @
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable f7 h" s- X% K8 O- x, u; x7 t
- Provide vacation relief

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
