and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a 8 @# i; M0 `# B
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

Job Description: The Film, Video & Media Arts Assistant will report to the Executive
& h: a9 M2 [! {( M( iDirector and work with the Production Coordinator and Maintenance Coordinator by 5 e! }% x' S( k* R b/ O1 S
assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Production Department. ' N0 [- L) U* ^: n; `* Q

Duties: & @2 Y9 V& [. _. A" N( F
- Assist with research on acquisition grants
+ U- ~, B0 o6 ^" ]1 \9 j: I- Assist with production and post-production gear and facilities / p/ l3 ]2 f! W$ U* [" V) g1 M
- Assist with equipment maintenance
0 s ]/ _1 ~* G$ }5 t. V0 ?/ P3 Q- @- Assist with production logistics for programming events 4 I4 T: k$ H% @' E- y$ O; l6 o
- Assist with communication with members and interoffice staff

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts

- Strong team player abilities
