whose mandate is to support the production and exhibition of film, video and media

resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and * X, w }1 W! I1 l0 J, |

7 @. t" _5 U6 y4 A9 E7 C k# y# vJob Description: The Film, Video & Media Arts Assistant will report to the Executive
& c+ U) t0 o8 \, ~* h: Z9 m' W9 EDirector and work with the Production Coordinator and Maintenance Coordinator by
* V; x% B% i1 }6 iassisting in the day-to-day operations of the Production Department.

/ ~/ W% C! v! A3 o- T3 q- Assist with research on acquisition grants
* j( Q* V% c/ E, |- Assist with production and post-production gear and facilities + z, [: j7 S7 [; R( Y3 {! p1 f
- Assist with equipment maintenance $ E. c4 Z3 I# i$ O. b9 x
- Assist with production logistics for programming events 8 h: v# @3 q# S9 N4 @% A
- Assist with communication with members and interoffice staff # Y8 c1 K& k2 d! T5 I/ T& W
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable $ x! s! _ Z8 E) O
- Provide vacation relief

- Advance skills in technical aspects of film and video equipment
