p" T8 T3 j" c# land media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
) p/ A5 V7 ?! ]% Z# t) `: {resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

7 L$ l" X# u5 |( d! x% L- cJob Description: The Film, Video & Media Arts Assistant will report to the Executive
4 S. T/ H9 k- l5 O. lDirector and work with the Production Coordinator and Maintenance Coordinator by
9 K, v- k0 B9 O3 [: y* Rassisting in the day-to-day operations of the Production Department.

Duties:
5 O7 l* s) w8 z/ c2 c! A3 }- Assist with research on acquisition grants
, d/ ]* O/ _( i- P% u& k8 u5 K* J2 {: T1 H- Assist with production and post-production gear and facilities 2 ~5 ]; Z+ J! k% |7 c
- Assist with equipment maintenance
" L+ S# M9 y! B8 ~- R- Assist with production logistics for programming events & j( k" ~7 {, n2 L- _( f5 i0 n
- Assist with communication with members and interoffice staff
* X! b% V# t9 T9 m# ~2 n2 O- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

0 z" I7 j: e. `: Q; J& E8 S1 [- Advance skills in technical aspects of film and video equipment
6 V6 W7 n4 ~' e7 q; ? z- Advance organizational and research skills o( h0 B2 M# o' c; D6 I
- Advance skills of current trends in technology i.e. HD
6 l. _% y9 ]$ H) \& d- Strong team player abilities
8 }2 ?4 k; \5 X* I1 _, d- Interest in working for an arts organization that is governed by a Board of Directors
