FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from
; E6 P1 H. j3 g( F/ Oemerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video
2 `2 z9 H/ g" Jand media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
2 w& W3 A* t# m' P/ \4 lresource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and
2 _$ W9 ?4 j0 Cscreenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

3 K% H9 Y, b4 J/ BJob Description: The Film, Video & Media Arts Assistant will report to the Executive ) C2 J* C. f1 _! s$ {4 E+ x2 G
Director and work with the Production Coordinator and Maintenance Coordinator by
1 l6 H$ d- O5 m! kassisting in the day-to-day operations of the Production Department. ( B E7 O6 X+ q- M
; I1 z% X: Z7 i( p. lDuties: 6 o* p% O3 d3 j
- Assist with research on acquisition grants 8 I6 E& ~, g ~2 i8 v' b
- Assist with production and post-production gear and facilities
! H% ?& h. s7 ^- Assist with equipment maintenance ' Y; G) o. ^/ \ O# E2 O5 g
- Assist with production logistics for programming events 1 D' n" p( g3 n
- Assist with communication with members and interoffice staff
