Job Description: The Film, Video & Media Arts Assistant will report to the Executive
6 K3 k0 m7 p' `Director and work with the Production Coordinator and Maintenance Coordinator by
4 E0 _; c7 Z6 d9 v& @assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Production Department.

& m% p% Y: q7 B! o3 I- Assist with research on acquisition grants 5 g! }) P* d: n4 N D
- Assist with production and post-production gear and facilities ! L7 B! v k( N |
- Assist with equipment maintenance 5 a+ A/ B0 g4 E- r
- Assist with production logistics for programming events
- E, L- d3 }8 L" o% {4 P- Assist with communication with members and interoffice staff
+ V- S$ U# } [! ^3 ~' \# F* t- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
0 J, ?% h9 y4 @% d- Advance skills in technical aspects of film and video equipment
& w0 J8 q- i) e6 [2 {4 u/ a& h- Advance organizational and research skills 9 g. y- a4 @( q5 {4 P5 Y2 U
- Advance skills of current trends in technology i.e. HD 0 K+ l4 n) w7 M: p8 Z0 L. f
- Strong team player abilities
