CSSA Spring Trip to Jasper on May 21, 22, and 23.

CSSA will organize a Spring Trip to Jasper from May 21 to 23, 2005.
* K  _& J' G- r  mActivities include sight viewing, canoeing at Jasper Park Lodge, and

& Z8 @5 w; G: y$ b: zspring at Miette Hot Springs.
We will go to Jasper by mini-van rented by CSSA and driven by CSSA
3 B% X( [1 `0 q# d6 K3 e9 dVolunteers.
We'll stay there for two nights. Accommodations are arranged by CSSA.
You are
responsible for your own meals during this trip. Please refer to the

Day One
-        Ride to Jasper by mini-van.(7 people per minivan)
# y6 L$ ?/ i" D8 A5 E-        Canoeing at Jasper Park Lodge.($35 per canoe per hour and $25 per

, P4 e5 c, O4 N1 Yhour)(Each canoe can hold 3 people at most.)
( h# F$ v6 I# K( E  Q1 B4 t-        Hot spring in Jasper for the evening.(Usually hot spring costs about
$6 per
person. So it's not that expensive. And after knowing how many people
will go,
0 x5 R: Z4 P- KI can work on a group price for us. So sign up for this activity. If
+ S) O: `% Y+ m' ?you are
not going, you could also have a little visit in Jasper town while
. S  J5 Q5 h6 Q6 \6 x. Z# i# dother
people go to the hot spring.)
% J2 q& @1 h' L( b-        Stays the night in Jasper.

Day Two
9 o* c. G/ V: J) v' G  R. N-        Sight Viewing in Japer: We'll go Maligne Lake first thing in the
morning .
And we'll do the Malign Boat Cruises.(I'll take us 90 minutes round
trip. It's
$35 per adult and $17.5 per child(6-12years old)). If you haven't done
this
/ U1 d8 O3 u+ d. Bbefore, I strongly recommend you to do so.
' _; o. D; x! I* {* G7 y-        Stays the night in Jasper and no activities in day 2's evening so
# F/ z) H. H# w: Y! Fthat you
7 [! T) R% l8 }; d. mcould visit the town by yourself, or go to the bar and have a drink or

Day Three
- k9 i5 n8 T& u& q-        Sight-viewing in Jasper continues.
  J* }& u* `) e2 U9 r8 ]2 [* V8 c-        Ride home in the early afternoon since we need to return the rented
van on

* R$ f2 i0 I$ {Things to Bring:
; M2 q6 N" g1 o6 x9 |-        Travel needs.
-        Swim suit if you want to do Hot Spring.
. K7 O& Z% D* \  Z$ K: o1 x+ R-       Sun glasses and sun screen to protect your eyes and skin.
-       Camera. It's beautiful in the mountain in the spring.
-       Bring some warm clothes since it's still cool in the mountain
% k3 V, C; Q( I" [in the
& ^4 q% m# [# e- R9 _late May. And we also will go to the Columbia Ice Field so warm clothes

' ^& T  q! k* t6 N& bshoes are definitely needed.
-       Wear comfort shoes cause we'll do lots of walking and of course
5 L; }2 @* {' n* m! m; Fdrving.(But you won't need to worry about the driving).
-       We won't take care of the food for you, but we'll stop at
places where
there are food at lunch or dinner hour, so you could have something to

" M; c" @+ ~$ j, x% v% wFeel free to bring your own food. (Like instant noodles.) (There is an
) v+ E! a3 V7 [' fIGA in
2 i0 S" j5 v" v% b  g1 g4 GJasper, so you could always buy food there if you need.)

Cost: $160, this price includes your share of car rentals, gas,

accommodation in jasper, and national park entrance tickets, and it

the hot-spring, the canoeing, and the maligne Boat Cruises).

When we come back from the trip, according to the expenses we'll return
the
# b/ O. f& V4 o  sextra money to you. According to the Trip we organized to Banff in last
winter, everyone will have returned money finally. And when we come
back
