CSSA Spring Trip to Jasper on May 21, 22, and 23.

CSSA will organize a Spring Trip to Jasper from May 21 to 23, 2005.
Activities include sight viewing, canoeing at Jasper Park Lodge, and

* }8 t- i8 U% }( Tspring at Miette Hot Springs.
We will go to Jasper by mini-van rented by CSSA and driven by CSSA
Volunteers.
3 ^9 Z1 ]5 ~" _  ^; j! V+ t$ zWe'll stay there for two nights. Accommodations are arranged by CSSA.

responsible for your own meals during this trip. Please refer to the

-        Ride to Jasper by mini-van.(7 people per minivan)
-        Canoeing at Jasper Park Lodge.($35 per canoe per hour and $25 per
half
hour)(Each canoe can hold 3 people at most.)
4 m5 E* |8 B5 a. a; ^" B( B-        Hot spring in Jasper for the evening.(Usually hot spring costs about

person. So it's not that expensive. And after knowing how many people
will go,

not going, you could also have a little visit in Jasper town while
other
people go to the hot spring.)

Day Two
-        Sight Viewing in Japer: We'll go Maligne Lake first thing in the
morning .
+ U7 A: P! O3 YAnd we'll do the Malign Boat Cruises.(I'll take us 90 minutes round
& ^; S  R1 \- c, g' _' C( o0 ytrip. It's
4 ?3 j2 G8 V1 U) y6 C$35 per adult and $17.5 per child(6-12years old)). If you haven't done
this
0 K- D' H0 ?& x6 |before, I strongly recommend you to do so.
! Z1 \3 e$ K/ q. I5 Z3 Q-        Stays the night in Jasper and no activities in day 2's evening so

Day Three
! v; r: ]; S. _. a& e4 H-        Sight-viewing in Jasper continues.
' g6 H) N5 ]7 f' ]" d, U-        Ride home in the early afternoon since we need to return the rented

  x1 A' c6 w# P# I1 p+ g$ Wtime.

Things to Bring:
6 W# H: D) b' n& T-        Travel needs.
; d1 [; H. W, o  V( ?-        Swim suit if you want to do Hot Spring.
-       Sun glasses and sun screen to protect your eyes and skin.
6 z) @2 b+ ]5 j: L' _6 T& c-       Camera. It's beautiful in the mountain in the spring.
-       Bring some warm clothes since it's still cool in the mountain
in the
late May. And we also will go to the Columbia Ice Field so warm clothes

shoes are definitely needed.
-       Wear comfort shoes cause we'll do lots of walking and of course
drving.(But you won't need to worry about the driving).
-       We won't take care of the food for you, but we'll stop at

8 S" ?" ?. I( C! r7 f: othere are food at lunch or dinner hour, so you could have something to

two-night
accommodation in jasper, and national park entrance tickets, and it

the hot-spring, the canoeing, and the maligne Boat Cruises).
Hot Spring ticket was about $6 in total according to last year's price.
Canoeing is $35 per canoe per hour, $25 per half an hour.
Maligne Boat Cruises are $35 per adult and $17.5 per child(6-12 years
old).
: E5 ^' \9 D" ^& n( p4 iWhen we come back from the trip, according to the expenses we'll return
the
extra money to you. According to the Trip we organized to Banff in last
winter, everyone will have returned money finally. And when we come
back
