The remains of a man reported missing in early March were found in a wooded area near a golf course in the city's northwest yesterday afternoon.# f# s. j- ?* v: O) p

Police said the remains, discovered near 137 Avenue and 170 Street, have been identified as 54-year-old Robert Stauffer. His death is not considered suspicious.7 e5 w8 X' J- @8 J1 w( u- H

Stauffer had not been seen or heard from since Jan. 24 after he attended a medical appointment. As this was not the first time he lost contact with his family, they did not report him missing until March 6.& R0 e6 I0 \3 N4 c% u2 O, ]

His family had been concerned for his health and safety as he suffered from several serious medical conditions, police said
