Housing Program Worker

! k, s+ d$ S+ T" f  V6 W( {Key Responsibilities:
/ |  q; P8 j  a9 O' O& t4 Y  T To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
1 k# {. s$ D9 ?' K9 Y To help promote the program in the community.
- s; K5 _/ |4 Y To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
* D  B9 m9 a1 V! }" K4 d0 s To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
% }* z4 F6 ]4 n' ?  { Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
( l" y1 m5 ]0 i% \' |! I7 R Current CPR and First Aid certifications
6 S4 x" \& L- g4 w& R; W. F+ i Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
