Job Description
Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
- f$ y) M2 D, S8 r' BResponsibilities:
& Q4 |) q' l  [& M- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
+ G5 l2 a8 D' S, D# o# o: L. D. n6 r- Find sponsors to enhance program
2 |% h5 H# c2 D3 L- Supervise volunteer(s)
# g5 \0 g7 Y5 j, C- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
9 K" O# b& u& E( [  k
' D; a1 K3 x4 O- _7 I  `! k- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
+ d2 P, E8 \: i- I- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Other

- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense
