- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to 7 G) |. k* h1 Q# H1 F
provide services for Chinese community
$ p! c' p" f/ O6 ~- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population / X$ N" ^( f8 ]% }
access to mainstream services
$ r' b# v1 I; f# q- K- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of ' N3 a$ G% C' ]) }0 F& ?% }
social services: _# S0 ^6 r! O+ J
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
! f0 b0 f% @) ]3 d- x8 _- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members4 v0 r! e$ P8 @$ r6 G
- update ASSIST website

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of

- good oral and written Chinese and English skills) ^) y0 b, [( B0 k
- experience in community work and immigrant services

- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset. Q- V# g4 _% u5 @2 u5 D9 v. n3 R
