Responsibilities:
N6 {( Q. Q0 j5 C4 y- Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the . [7 G" v }" y: A6 T
preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
, j) c: `- X& [9 v0 n- Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program* T6 k' U% _, ?. `$ j! Q& [) u
- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies; N- j2 Y& Z$ O& U H
- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program / Y7 } u5 |, {

- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
1 k* p5 U0 D: a% P5 G3 a- S( ? Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
$ J2 J/ n" t- P/ N" c- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
( v" z: i3 Q; a5 @, N- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
% D; [ n3 O' b+ h, X0 T- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities( j7 G& ?, S& }6 g
- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese+ x9 m: W' [- ]) u: b2 a" w! M! t9 P
- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities J3 ] v7 u! `6 N: f$ r
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
! ~) j9 z. {! F- v @- Returning student (should return to school after summer)

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
9 ~1 n2 H: n; E, p and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps) e) a9 y4 x7 f
- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 20094 d9 _7 d$ P* J: s( t1 `3 W5 B7 e
