- Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the 9 A) P: L% g* t' x4 _' v/ m
preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps# V, N) x0 y$ k1 { G
- Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program( t' _+ L8 _9 V( x# f
- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies# L* |! \( ~( G# I; s7 z
- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program 1 m% o; ~9 V( Z6 k, q+ f X

- Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

Qualifications:1 x& {- Z0 \1 @0 o
- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood , L' ?9 |! ?# y9 m3 R: T
Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
* w5 r7 k2 C7 Z" D* s- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children6 ^* A6 `' l) t) @* [
- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
, f1 j3 f! V( I9 A/ h- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities$ Q1 D( A& |' G" f7 s
- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
, ?1 h+ h9 @; ^- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
- _% Q, M. u/ X- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision7 o5 ~1 I" K8 P% G
- Returning student (should return to school after summer): r8 V' J9 K: M: P

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)

- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009
